2006 PHOTOSHOPPING SPECS
IMAGES
As a photographer for SG, we are trusting you to make each image in a set perfect. I get a number of emails from photographers that tell me their images are PERFECT directly from the camera...this is not true! From color to distractions and cropping, there are always things that can be done to perfect an image.
There are many basic principles about editing images that you will learn or hopefully already know. Keep track of these as they come up and refer to them regularly. Use this group to share tips and tricks you learn.
Quality is number one. Become very detail oriented when working on the sets. Make sure all distractions are taken out (objects on walls that are cut off from the frame, electrical outlets/plugs, cords, etc). The images should be clear, colorful, and consistent. CONSISTENCY is key!
Make sure all of your files are labeled properly and are of the right dimensions. Because we have upped our image sizes, we will accept images that are slightly over 100k. Do not send images that are 150k and up! Quality, quality, quality...do not resize an image just to fit the specs - this will sacrifice the image quality.
**Photographers, please see the 2006 photo specs for more info on the photography and order of sets..**
It's 2006...please make sure you are using the correct logo/copyright when prepping sets. Also, please remember that if a set is not up to our standards I will be sending it back to get redone. That is why it's important to review these specs and pay attention when editing.
----------
-Images: 700-725 pixels at their widest side (with logo)
-Thumbnails: 55x75 of each image without the logo
-Set Preview (gif): image size 75x43 named preview.gif GIF file only, 128 colors.
**Filesize for most images should be *well under* 100k (if an image is larger, it can exceed 100k slightly) for photos and 4k for thumbs. Make them as high quality as you can with the smallest file size. Most images should be around 80k.
New girls need:
5 profile pics saved as girl_pic.jpg
These should be sexy head and shoulders shots, no nudity.
If you would like to submit a front page graphic (or have an idea for a set name) go ahead and mock a couple up. It is 317x124, the fonts are trebuchet bold (tracking -50) and edwardian script (-20) with whatever anti-aliasing looks best. the text is all lowercase. Save the layered file as a PSD file so if the model name or set name changes I can easily make changes. The front page preview graphic is optional, if you want to do it then do 4 or 5. The previews should be named: previewbig1.psd, previewbig2.psd, etc.
NAMING/ORDER:
-The files should be named: 01.jpg and the thumbnail for that image 01t.jpg, 02 thumbnail 02t, ect., ect.
-One thing to watch is the file extension. Our system will not read .JPG, it must be ".jpg" (lowercase).
-The images, thumbnails and preview should be stuffed in a zip file and you can either send us a link to the zip file or find another way to transfer the file to us.
**Please seperate the images and thumbnails (put the thumbnails in a separate folder labeled "Thumbs" - the larger JPGs can be loose in the final folder).
Before submitting the set please make sure that all the thumb nails are in place and correctly labeled, the preview.gif is included, girl pics (for new girls).
INVOICING:
Please invoice SG on the 25th of every month! DO NOT invoice us once you submit the set. You need to wait until it is queued and it appears on the girls page.

please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions!
