Ok, so it's been far too long since I last wrote a blog, so long in fact that I'm not even sure what was happening to me when I wrote the last one.

So here I am, in February, part way through the fitting (toile) stages of my collection, and increasingly worried about the actual workload.
The reason I've not really been updating my blog is that I'm trying to really concentrate on my dissertation to make sure that it is really all it can be. I'm really very proud of it, and I think it may be the first formally written third person thing I've ever written. Well the first one that got marked. The deadline for it is the 20th so I think I'm being quite sensible devoting at least a day a week to it, yesterday I added in all of my pictures and stuff, and it's like 40 pages long, it looks really impressive.
Anyway . . . apart from the whole 'final year thing' that I'm not even really going to go into, needless to say, it really shows when suddenly we're expected to do X, Y, & Z. but haven't ever been shown how to or expected just to get on with it, even if we're stuck. Fabrics have been ordered, rent's paid and food's hot, things are getting there so that's enough of my moaning.
Last night my flat mate Sarah finally convinced me to go out with her and the girls from costume, and that was an experience. My mate Daley and I were tagging along, but left at some time after 11, having decided to get an early-ish night. Being in today, and having a scheduled time with the technicians. Anyway .. . I got home, fell onto bed, knocked the skateboard off my wall, which hit me in the head, and then proceeded to get stuck in my skin tight long sleeved Fiji Surf tee and gave up with one arm out and one arm in, and went to bed. Anyway, not sure what time Sarah got in . . . as it turns out that I had a text and a missed call in the wee hours of the morning that I was defiantly not conscious for. Anyway, there was me thinking, I'll be sensible, and I had several pints of water and a decent meal before going out, as well as water before bed. All that bloody happened is I needed a pee every bar we went to because of the cold air walking from one to the others. so I wake up this morning (FOR THE SECOND TIME) still reeling a bit from last night, have a further two pints of water and a coffee, then headed in. only to find out that because of the snow this morning the technicians aren't coming in so I've fixed my sleeve printed of the digital pattern for my lengths and now, as you can read, I'm bloging.
Anyway, Lisa's Party next week which if the last one was anything to go by will be immense, and Rachel R's Birthday party this Saturday (probably not going to be staying for very long as I have to achieve stuff on Sunday, even if it's just the household chores)
And for all of you that aren't avid listeners of Cake, or just to remind you of what you already know:
