i have new lip gloss. it promises to give me 41% fuller lips if used 3 times a day.

if my lips are constantly glossed, and i kiss my lover, does that mean he'll get fuller lips too? i wonder if this person to person transfer will work on other body parts. blush

Ha! Ha! I love your intro/info bit!! biggrin

Good luck in sorting things out! smile

Yeah. It's just the flash thing. There's no click "open in another" window or in "another tab". There's no flash free version like most sites have either. I'm sure it'll get a bit more user friendly though... hopefully.

I think requests for more smilies will be further down the to do list now though. blackeyed

essay number 1: complete. and with almost 24 hours to spare. it's pants (i'm going for a 2.1 instead of a first this round), but my mind is elsewhere.

i'm looking forward to another fabulous weekend. possibly and entire week. i do believe i might be the luckiest lady on the planet. or am i just a dreamer like that?

sorry to be elusive. would...

it's dragon fruit season in london! and i am a happy lady!

(for more reasons than the dragon fruit, mind you, but perhaps the dragon fruit's potential can speak cryptically of happiness in the broader sense.)

I've never had a dragon fruit. I've always thought they looked really cool. I don't even know where to get them around here. I've glad you're happy. Althought I'm not sure how fruit makes you happy. wink I know chocolate makes me happy sometimes. biggrin
forkandles:
I've had rambutan - that's quite nice; that and lychees taste similar if I'm thinking of the right fruit?
Yes custard apples are my favourite exotic fruit - so far: I'm willing to be persuaded otherwise by new ones, like your dragon fruit. smile
I had tinned durian once and have seen them on sale in Chinatown - you can't get away from the whiff; it is rather pungent.
Apples are my favourite 'everyday' fruit. What's yours?

what a shite day.

in other matters, i don't know why i'm even half-heartedly updating this anymore.

this used to be a place for me to vent. or to just be happy. to get out all of my weirdness so that i could be normal during my hours with the real life assholes and bastards that populate the world.

but its hard to do that...

i've got a pretty good idea of what you're talking about, and i say fuck it. say what you need to.

how can you grow as a person without self reflection? those who see things in shallow black and white never get to see the vast gray areas where interesting things happen. sparks live there. i think it's sad that some people never get to see.

tolerance is ok as long as it doesn't start hurting you. when it does, it's time to take the gloves off and tell the offender to back the fuck off.

just my opinion.

well. i've been a bit distracted lately. to say the least.

tongue tied as well, but perhaps much loser in that department at the same time. hmmm...

well, escapism will hardly ever be out of my life, but at least for the time being, i'm going back to the books. although that's a form of escapism too, isn't it?

there is so much more i'd...

If only it was that interesting, the interview was, sadly, not Tate realted, I just ended up there later in the day. It was just a seasonal retail job (but at the Apple store, so fingers crossed), money being a bit of a requirement at the moment.
Thanks for the request.

*takes defensive stand against whatever has your tongue tied* I've got the bogey in sight, Awaiting further orders.

Books are a pleasant escape, though. Is there really any crime in delving into the intellect, and inspiring the mind for further creation.

i walked off the platform from the train today, into the neighborhood i've just moved to, and i see a man lying on the ground. blood is everywhere and he's trying to move his leg which wouldn't really bend. i can't see his face because he wears a baseball hat and it covers his eyes. but what i do see it that no one stops....

man lying on the ground is one thing..
man lying on the ground with blood everywhere and trying to move should be cause for great concern! but for certain parts in London i guess it's not. that's really sad...
thelastboss:
I think you're right.
But also it's a fear of getting involved. People force themselves to not care about someone, because if they cared, they would have to do one of two things; either A) to go to all the trouble of helping a person out(thus risking being late for whatever, or spending money, or getting robbed). or B) do nothing and then proceed to feel genuinely guilty about it for a long time.

So they take the easy road; they see that nobody else is doing anything about the man's plight, and follow the herd's apathy. They shut it out of their minds and do their best to forget about it.
