played at the knitting factory tonight, april 4. made new friends with SNAKES ALIVE, and awesome sludge, stoner band for lack of any decent way to describe metal in all it variants. Definitely going to set up lots of shows with/for them with GREEN BENEATH, my new promotion project. Danial Dismal who seems to be the head of Church of the 8th day says he'll hook us up with more shows like one with sourvein which should be good. But what i learned tonight, despite the awesome sound we created is a) i do like my band, although i don't really dig our tunes anymore, and b) we still aren't cohesive enough. Nervousness has a lot to do with it, and the fact that i played with a full-stack for the first time and it was blasting right into my ear, but i think i keep rushing the other dudes, so everyday i have to practice to a metronome. JUCIFER rocked and Amber is sexy as fuck when she plays the guitar. god damn. She looked like she was stroking some sensual part of her body with her guitar all the while totally being arroused by the immense vibratory prowess of her massive beast of amps wall. sweet stuff. but all in all, it was a good experience and it was sick as shit playing with loud ass equipment, which means i better start saving!! good thing i'm cutting out booze for a little while. Oi Vey!! That's a hell of a trick. I blew it tonight and lied to somebody about it, but i mean, it was free. How the hell am i supposed to turn down drink tickets. Yeah, i could have manned up and not done it, but fuck it. I am beholden to no one. And i think just having two drinks still showed serious restraint and control, which is more important to learn than just not drinking.
