Ok, I'm crappy at posting on this shit... it's what? ... 6 months since the last post. Not bad. Just a little bit apart . I had my first art show last month and it actually worked people bought my shit and it was pretty cool. Never really thought of myself as an artist more of a pub regular with witty one liners from years of sitting at the pub. Now I'm a bit more domesticated as Mishou and I are getting hitched in July (lordy lordy I got my shorty and a forty). Life = busy, liver = 75 growth rings, future = monkeys wearing fez's shooting lasers riding ostridges.

Almost a year without posting ... yep it's been a crazy year and everything is going well. House is good, work is crazy, food is good and my taint has been waxed to a glossy shine.

Well I've been extremely lazy about posting here (as anyone can see). It's not that I don't love you folks it's more that life has been moving at a good pace and I haven't stopped to comment on it really. Mishou's moved out here (though she's back in Oly for the holidays right now), we're finally wrapping up the game I've been working on (GRAW 2) and I broke down and bought a 360. Mishou and I went to my company's christmas party a couple weeks ago and had a blast.

Other than that I started painting again with my first piece being a christmas present for Mishou.

We've got a pretty sick little pad right now and the only things I'm focusing on will be my new years resolutions. Mainly to get back in shape, as BBQ and a desk job don't make for 8 minute abs. Last night Stella and I went to my current favorite bar and watched "A Christmas Story" followed by "Lethal Weapon". So for parting holiday cheer, here's stella at the pub representing:

Holy baby oil lubed underbelly of a freshly shave bear-pig. I've been busy, to hermit, to busy, to drunk, to stressed and then to healthy at times. I'll be moving at the end of the month, or as soon as I settle on a place, and the lass is moving out one month after that.

The places I'm looking to move right now are a couple houses around Durham and Chapel Hill area. All in all I can't wait. It will be really good to finally setttle down in a place and not feel like temporary housing for a year. As in to have a house and have the god given right to have a bbq on my porch.

Awww..... fuckity fuck fuck fuck.. The new site has the feel of a lady's restroom. Not sure I feel comfortable here. It smells better and there's less piss on the floor but it just "feels" wrong.

So it's been some time since I last posted. I've been busy as usual and not all to feeling like I want to posty mc posty-pants. Work's ramped up and this past month has just been crazy.

I'm in an adult dodgeball team that's been kicking ass most nights. We've got the tournament starting tomorrow night. I've been playing a couple random soccer games when people don't show up.

Went back to Seattle a couple of weeks ago to see the lovely Mishou. I wish I could have spent more time since it just felt rushed and stressful. I miss that lass and can't wait till we finally settle.

I recently spoke at a local game expo that went pretty damn well. It forced me to finally fix and get my domain in fawking order. There's a link to the power point presentation on the site if anyone's interested (not sure why you would but .. hell).

Now it's time to get my ass back to the velvet painting.

So I started painting on black velvet again and (partially thanks to the sobriety) the one I'm working on is looking really good. Now all my paintings I've given away and don't have a single one I kept (they're at a bar on the wall). So now I'm going to start doing the ones I want to keep.

Now what I'm asking is what would you paint on black velvet?

So I've been pretty lazy with the updates here. I've stayed pretty damn busy. Soccer season is over and now I'm on one of the company's dodgeball teams. Yes, of all things it's a co-ed dodgeball league.

I'll be back in Seattle for a week in June ( to see the lovely Mishou ) and saving money for hitting up the Tokyo Game Show this year. It'll be the first time in Japan and I'm fawking stoked on the trip. Went to see my friend's band SNMNMNM play for free saturday in downtown Raleigh. Good show with great people, always impressed with the Tuba solo.
