I honestly don't do very well with resolutions but here's the tiny bit of a list I've got for this year:
Get a real job Move out of my mom's house Get my cap sleeve done Go to more derby bouts Work out at least once a week
And I am a bit hesitant to add this last thing since I've had it on my list for the past two years and it's never worked out but I'd really love to find a girlfriend this year. Or at least find a nice girl who wouldn't mind a good cuddle and a Bones marathon.
Anyways, I hope you all are doing well. I'd post pics if I had them but sadly I haven't been going anywhere that really required photos. Maybe if some New Years pics go up on Facebook I'll share but my friends aren't that reliable when it comes to uploading so we'll have to see.
For the past two months I've been working 3 jobs: my normal volunteer gig doing web work, a seasonal position (that's just kicked the bucket) at Old Navy, and I've been working as an assistant for a personal chef that caters intimate parties. I look pretty fab in all black and the chef is such a sweetheart (gave me a bottle of Bailey's for xmas!) so it's safe to say that the last job is my favorite.
Applied for an energy auditing job today that's got free training attached so I'll update you guys if anything comes of that. Maybe I'll be able to cross a resolution of my list by the end of the month!
Doing a tiny bit of travelling this month too: my college roommate's getting married this weekend so I'm hitting up Peoria for a night and then near the end of the month I'm tagging along on my dad's business trip to Seattle to spend a day or so with a friend that lives there. I've never been west of Yellowstone National Park so I'm really looking forward to that trip.
