So, I graduate in less than a week.
I think I'm working for my dad a little this summer helping him figure out the HVAC system for this data center pod he's creating but if he's not gonna pay me then fuck that. If that falls through I'll actually have to start looking for a legitimate job and I really don't want to. I still don't know what kind of job I even want and I don't really like any jobs related to civil engineering so I honestly have no idea where to start looking.
I think I'd be a fairly decent sales person for an engineering company but my mom says I'm too shy, which is kind of true but still, if I'm getting paid I'll be outgoing as fuck. As much as I don't like Indiana I'm pretty sure I'll have to live here a couple years to save up the money to move elsewhere. There are loads of engineering firms in downtown Indy so if I can snag a position at one of those I'll live at home a while then go out and find an apartment downtown.
As far as tattoos go I've been thinking more on the cap sleeve I want. It'll probably be mostly flowers, the next being a lilac, but I don't have any money to spare right now so the next addition will probably have to wait 'til I get a proper job.
Goals for the summer:

Goals for the summer:
- Read all the books left on my bookshelf
- Learn either my guitar or my sister's keyboard
- Take up yoga with my mom to get a little more flexible
- Get a little more proficient at cooking
I'm happy to be done with school but I just wish I knew what to do next.
Why not start looking for a job soon, would be my thought. See what's available in downtown Indianapolis, like you said. If you get a decent civil engineering job, you might be able to get your own apartment pretty soon. Or, skip the apartment and live at home for a while, and save your money.
What about civil engineering did you enjoy the most in school? Or what aspects of it do you find the most interesting? Or, if sales sounds appealing, that might be something to pursue also.
