With the Olympics going on, the television at my parents' place is always running. So I've been seeing a lot of commercials this week. Since I haven't watched much TV at all in the past year, there are some things I had forgotten about television. Like how car commercials always have good music. Especially these two I keep seeing:

In other news, I am now the part-owner of a beautiful violin which I can sort-of play. And if I want to be a music major at UNT, I must "perform two contrasting movements of a work demonstrating [my] most advanced level" at a formal audition in the Spring.

I have to learn a new instrument well enough, in six months, to impress the admissions officers at one of the best music schools in the country?
