Almost a month since I made a post! That's a good third of my free account, I've totally not been taking advantage of my free time on here. Things that have been keeping me preoccupied:
Music! One week there I saw a shitload of great bands all in a row, including (but not limited to) Descendents, High on Fire, The Bronx (including Miriachi El Bronx), Jean Grae, Suicidal Tendencies, Peelander Z, Joanna Newsom, Schaffer the Darklord and MC Chris. Also stumbled across a record by AC4, a new band formed from a couple fellas that used to be in Refused!
Work! A person in my department quit so things got shuffled around a bit. I'm now finishing acoustic guitar bodies instead of necks. The work is still a little frustrating, and I'm pretty much deprived of all sense of accomplishment since the body finishing process is actually split into three legs between three people. I'm getting the hang of it though, which makes me slightly less annoyed with it I guess, ha ha.
Holidays! My brother and sister came into Austin for Thanksgiving and my Birthday, good times had by all! Lots of beer and joyous festivity, plus I got a pound of spare change for every one of my years which added up to over 160 dollars! Also got a new phone, which is really sweet because I smashed my old one up good and proper in that Descendents pit : ) Here's a crappy picture from it of my newly awesomized refrigerator!
And a really cute lady helped me put all that on there after beating my ass in Soul Caliber. I'm thinking I might have had the wrong impression about this Life guy...
