What's happenned recently....

My truck died. I had to buy a new vehicle. Got a '03 Dodge SX2.0. Think sporty Neon. Surprise, surprise the colour of said car is...

Only paying 200 a month for the term, but insurance is now 300 a month. Bitch.

Employers told me that it might be wise idea to get my passport sooner than later. What that means I really don't know, but I may have a trip overseas for work in the next year (or so). The reason they told me this is that as I become known more and more as a responsible and reliable employee, they are beginning to rely on me to take on more responsibilities, like filling in as supervisor while the real one is away. I'm getting paid the same to deal with more headaches and co-workers who gossip and backstab like the bitches on Laguna Beach. Not as fun as it sounds, funny enough.

Aoede is back in school, and as such will be spending much more time at my apartment (no longer in sketchy-ville, as some of you remember), but in a decent part of downtown. Too bad her mammy still has apron strings that haven't been cut and I'll still have to devote many of my nights going up to her place in the north end so I can get my requisite cuddle time for the day. Critical, I tells ya .

Cousin Magen got married just this past weekend. Her mom's a bitch and treated her two sisters (my mom and aunt, who coincidentally is married to my boss...but that's another story) like they weren't even there for the duration. But at least that attitude wasn't applied to the daughter for the weekend. She looked gorgeous. Weather cleared up beautifully for the out-door ceremony.

AAAND! I got my druid on Norgannon to 60 last night. 9 months in making. Dinged while we were clearing out the Lyseum in Blackrock Depths just outside the Emperor's hall. The mage was one-shotting the groups of trash mobs a dozen at a time with cone of cold. My guildmates are awesome.

So, remember that little bit about socializing not being a priority? Well, I get the weekend off (friday and monday included), so it's jam-packed with stuff - Tool concert Friday (which was freakin' sweet), camping with my baby today and tomorrow.
