Well, the landlord stuff worked out ok in the end. I got him to negotiate spreading that raise out over a few years. So we can stay. Yay!


In other news my old boss and sometimes business associate is trying to talk me into coming back semi-full time to take over shooting the latest gizmo to hit Key West.




I'm a bit tired of tourist and event photography, but it's work and it's probably a pretty good gig for me I think. Just a few hours a day.

I can't wait to get a test ride!

I'm pretty pissed my landlord is raising my rent by $200 a month this year.

That's a lot, isn't it?

He's says it's because of the cost of insurance and blah blah blah. It's damn sure not because he put any work into the place.
If there's any reason he'd be able to get another 200 bucks out of it on the market it's only because my gf and I have made it into a decent little home.

I reeeeeally don't want to move again. We've only been here a year. I've still got crap in boxes, for Christ's sake! I'm not even done moving in yet!
But if he won't budge on that, we may have to; just on principal, if nothing else.

Fuck.
