We got a bit of good news wednesday.
Long story short, the clinic called. all my test results came back good. I can start taking my ovulation drugs when my next cycle starts and dave and I can officially start trying to have a baby.

So, i'm back for the time being!
Updates:
1) Had surgery in September. Went really well. All the abnormal cells were removed. No cancer found. Squeaky Clean Babymaker.
2) Still moving to austin but not until May. I am so ready to move back right the fuck now.
3) I go in for another round of testing on Nov 30th and then, hopefully, we can FINALLY start our infertility drugs. I had been tested in October -- everything came back fine except for my liver enzymes. We couldnt figure out why. Nurse was convinced I was a secret alcoholic. Then I remembered I took a prescription Motrin about 18 hours before my blood draw. Bingo! So lets hope that this 3rd times the charm
4) We just bought a new car. I'm a bit shocked. Our credit isnt steller and self employment income can be hard to prove but we qualified for a brand new vehicle. Suckers!

Had another doctor visit on monday. Im still waiting to find out if i can get my insurance company to cover the surgery. In the meantime, the doctor put me on Megace, 2 pills a day, twice a day, in hopes it will reduce or elimiate the hyperplasia.

In other news, Dave and I decided to move back to Austin (well, back for me. he's never lived there). We wont be going til the Fall but I'm super excited already.

so. biopsy. was "something". not the worst something but not a good something. I go to see the doctor on the 10th and will get scheduled for surgery. hopefully it is smooth sailing from then on.
I'm such a shit for not updating this more often.
And I'm even more of a shit for not updating til something scary happens.
Long story short, after some testing to see about fertility treatment, they saw some unusual stuff on one of my ultrasounds so I'm going in monday for a biopsy. could be nothing. could be something. they don't know.
Lets all hope for "nothing".
I'm trying to keep positive and keep myself distracted. I'm going to lock myself in my house and watch nothing but bollywood films for the next 12 hours.

Dave and I started a theater company and our first production opens on Feb 12th so we're hella busy with that.
I think we're going to start trying for a baby soon. I have some medical issues that make conceiving difficult so we're just trying to make sure i'm in the best possible situation to make trying productive.
Other than that, things are going well.

Is it wrong to look at wedding photos of someone elses wedding (the person's who's wedding was last night that I decided to bail on because she went all uber-entitled bitch) and think "oh. my wedding was so much better. and we did it on 3000, including my dress and dave's kilt. what exactly did you spend 22,000$ on?"

so the good news is dave is home well before last call from his bachelor party

1) i was totally asleep and naked when he, my future brother in law who i havent met and dave's best friend bring him home and stand him right in front of the bedroom door
