Makes you wonder what more she could have accomplished. ![]()

I never paid much attention to Amy Winehouse. I guess all the media attention showered on her was such a turn off to me I kept her at arm's length. I'm so used to not liking musicians the media tells me I'm supposed to like that it's become a habit.
I must admit that's not a bad song.

I seriously hate that I let the media about her keep me from really listening to her stuff. She was amazing. I am now a huge fan. The whole affair breaks my heart.
That sandwich was all kinds of amazing. When we do the camping trip to the Oregon coast I will be bringing this to non. Should work, package every thing separate. Then assemble on site. Make wrap them in heavy duty foil and heat them over a fire. Sweet baby jesus. I can't wait!

A good crying I hope. Isn't it funny how songs can instantly take a person to a moment or mood?

Yeah I was a total twat monkey when I was a teenager (go figure). It's the whole mom curse "one day you'll have one just like you" coming to fruition.
Goddamned moms and their curses.
And I happen to be quite partial to this one...good night miss amy...

Thanks so much, and happy holidays to you!
Aw, that video made me tear up too. I know Amy was a tabloid train wreck, but I always felt bad for her. Sure she was an addict who made bad decision after bad decision, but she had such talent and her feelings about music, life and addiction came through in her voice with such raw power. I wish she'd have made it.

Happy Holiday back at you good sir!
I will be enjoying at least a 6 pack of Snow Day later...it is a patriotic duty!

Oh, Amy.
I've had the Tame Impala album for a while, but I go through phases where I forget about things. Then when they pop up on shuffle, they're rediscovered, and I'm excited again.

I'm currently DJing local blues dances....I play a lot of soul & R&B, some motown, jazz, and more current stuff like Adele, of course, some obscure stuff (nick cave at the next one...looking forward to their reaction to that)
I'm really enjoying it, i've never really dj'd before. This is your turf, isn't it? Have any suggestions?

This song would be great, actually, on the dance floor. Thanks for sharing. ![]()
