Well kids I am back. A little worn out and a lot poorer, but I had an absolute blast. We stayed out until all hours of the night and gambled and drank and drank and drank. Suffice it to say we either made or killed our taxi driver's nights each night. 5 reeeeeally drunk people from Texas, that get reeeeeeally friendly when they have...

I made an appointment today to try to get a handle on my ADD. I have been off meds for about 5 or 6 years, but my life has just gotten out of control and my mood swings are killing me. (As you can probably tell from my journal entries of late.) I also want to confirm that this is ADD and not something else...

The fear that I really work on the most and have managed to mostly conquer is the fear of crowds/meeting new people/social situations.

I never ever would have guessed that. You seem so confident and outgoing. As they say in AA (I went to one meeting tongue) Fake it til you make it. You just keep going ahead with babysteps and one day you'll realize that you're actually doing it.

I like you very much.

The line in that song signifies everything going on with me right now... its great!

Sorry if I am being a little journal happy recently. I just had to post something else to get the depressing crap out of the way.

So how about a little light hearted banter? What are you listening to right now (not right this second, recently)?

Me?

In my car I have:

Alice in Chains - Dirt
Weezer - I don't remember the names, but it...

Today has been a strange day filled with strange occurances. It started with a nightmare. The nightmare: I was at some function and everyone was leaving. I was getting in my car and a girl that I had just met at the function was walking off with some guy that really gave me the creeps. She kept looking back at me as if something was...

Talk about contrasting emotions: panic and calm. That sounds like a pretty intense internal evening: your friends had no idea. I felt like I was there the way you described it. Thank you. smile

I don't know how familiar any of you are with John Hartford, but absolutely love his music. This song has been running through my head lately, so I thought I would share it. It is the reason that I do not have a corporate job anymore.

Today like many others was to be a highly productive day off. I was, however, expertly practicing the art of procrastination. This fucking site doesn't help. wink So now the day is gone and I am getting ready to go to my softball game. Send me good vibes, maybe we will actually win tonight.

kiss

Edited:
Thanks for the good vibes, but we lost... again... blackeyed

*Good vibes* (now that you're probably done with the game)

Yep, I've spent several hours on this site today rather than studying. opps.

I'm so frustrated! I have your pics on CD here, but since my home PC is out-of-order for... don't know how long... I have no picture-resizing/reformatting software here at work, so dunno when I can send them!
I'll try to get someone to do it, if I have long-term PC problems.
I flipped by the US Olympic/ Arizona Univ softball game last night. I'd seen Arizona in the playoffs before, and I have a big crush on this pitcher of theirs... (ten minutes later) okay, I'm even more frustrated!! I just scoured Google, Yahoo News and ESPN for any information at all on the game they just showed last night on ESPN and found nothing.... (sigh)... well, this pitcher's a cutie, is all. Tall, cute, squeezable build. You have to turn to women's sports to see regular non-model types on TV anymore... well, okay, and Melissa McCarthy.

I am such a pot head. I have lost a joint somewhere in my house, but cannot find it. And it isn't shwag, it is good kind bud. mad My biggest concern is that I hope it did not fall on the floor or something and one of the dogs ate it. But I think I would notice because I am sure it would make...
