So this week has honestly been pretty boring, aside from a few minor down beats I've been having a good time just working and going to school. Big news is that I am trying to lose a little weight since I am in a friend's wedding coming up in April, and want to look my best in a sweet sweet tux. Biggest problem has been cutting out soda, but I am down to two cans a day. Now to work on eliminating fried food from my diet, which is hard because donuts.
So I guess more about me. I'm 25, single and one year away from getting my BS in business. I spend most of my free time playing video games or reading, I absolutely love to read, but can be kind of picky about which books I do read. I like to go to the movies a lot, but don't like going alone. Its always better to share movies. I'm the kind of person who likes going on opening weekends and to midnight showings just to experience a movie with a big crowd. I love comedies and horror movies for this because you get the best reactions with a big crowd. I love hearing the room gasp collectively or break out into boisterous laughter when things get funny, and I just enjoy the sensory experience provided for by the theater.
The best thing though is doing a movie night with friends. Grabbing a really good (or really bad) movie and sitting down to watch it in a casual environment with snacks and alcohol (more for the bad ones), quipping at the screen the whole time or just enjoying a real good movie with the people you are closest to. Its a shared experience that can't be beat, especially if not everyone has seen the movie, if you can broaden someone's horizons and show them something they haven't experienced it can be a real rush, and you might have helped someone discover a genre or film maker they never would have found on their own.
I guess that covers it for this week, hopefully next week things will get more interesting, or I will spend time talking about crazy customers at work, or some of my favorite comics. Either way, good times everybody.

katella:
I'm right there with you on the weight loss...but I love to eat so I kinda suck at it. I already have my dress so as long as I don't gain any weight I should be good. My advice on the soda is to go cold turkey...that's what I did a few years back and it helped alot. After about a week your taste buds change and you don't even want soda anymore because it tastes too sweet. I pretty much only drink it now when its watered down with booze. I even have to water down my juice (with real water). And unsweetened tea is a life-saver...or u could do like Suzie and just go diet pepsi all the way (no calories). Anyway, you've motivated me to exercise...I'm gonna go find vkzawa and get in a "morning workout".
