I am reading a book about dreams right now and it says that you can program your dreams so you can face what it is that is scaring you in the dream so it resolves itself. I am trying it with this one I have where I'm in a haunted house/fun house type situation and I can't find the exit. I am trying to program that I know where the exit is and I move to it right away rather than frantically searching for it to no avail.
