Last night was very cool. I got to hang out with two of my favorite people, infornography and Isadora. These are two of the loveliest people you'd ever want to meet. I always enjoy their hospitality and company. It's really nice to be made to feel so welcome by such awesome people, so thanks for having me over. You guys really cheered me up.
Today, despite the spectacular failure that was the proposed SGVA Dodgeball event, I got to hang out with my good pal Cheech for a few hours. Despite an unsuccessful quest to track down one of my favorite people, DragonflyCQ at both of her places of work, at least we did get a first hand look at the ultra-sexy Grey in action, running her store, so all was not lost. There's also some really cool stuff at Plan 9 Music, so even if DFCQ wasn't there, it was time well spent. I never object to walking around Carytown anyway.
Oh well, it's been a decent weekend so far and I think I'm off to see Sideways or Hotel Rwanda tonight, so it should stay positive. Tomorrow looks like a big homework day for me, so I guess I'd better have fun while I can.
EDIT: I ended up seeing The Woodsman with Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgewick. Excellent film, but definitely not the feelgood hit of the summer. Go see it, but not on a first or second date.
Again, thanks to all my cool friends here in SGVA for being, well...you. Oh yeah, I can't forget to say that my friend Tryst is wicked cool, dead sexy and super-talented, so check her out and be sure to look into her rocktastic band Rockbot.
There...I think I've pimped out all my peeps.
P.S. Yes, it's true...miss lady is about as saucy and sex-ay as they come, kids, so go give her mad love, if you please.
