Sometimes I hate people.

But then I come back to SG and remember why I love everyone on my friendslist.

smile

So I need to do some searching for this person who thought my life was their business but I'm good at that. Should be fun.

ARRR!!!

Arrrrgh.

I just found out someone violated my privacy and downloaded my photos from my SG profile and has been sharing them. Apparently my life and my images are quite interesting to those with little better to do.

Classy. Very Classy.

And if I find out which SG member did this (because they are the only ones who can view them) I will personally be...

It's always nice to come back to SG after working 50 hour weeks and caring for 3 kids only to find out some chick has been talking crap about you on the internet.

EDIT: I'm all over the above and would like to say that no one slandered my name or anything... and when I said the above I was PMSing and crabby. The reality...

happy mothers day!

size 3?!?! i hate you! tongue
kengineer:
Size 3?!? I thought you were a little more Bettie Page than that. Well, what do I know about sizes anyway? If I want to know a woman's size my only choice is to seduce her, then check the labels on her clothes when she's in the bathroom.

NOT!

I had this waking-dream fugue state in which I figured out my perfect tattoos. Two small images on my left and right pects perfectly expressing the yin and yang of my being. Then I forgot what they were. All I'm left with is the hawk feather I want over my heart.

I need to get some new ink. It's that time and I have some others that I want touch ups on so I need to get in to see my guy.

He's kind of busy though and when I say that I really mean BUSY. It's like a three month wait to get in there and by the time I want to go in and...

I don't understand myself sometimes. I am developing this mad infatuation for Stephen Colbert.

So.. apparently I like brown skinned butchy dykes and thin feminine white boys?

WTF?

Yeah. I was lucky enough to have a friend get me into the Comedy Central camp during the 2000 Republican national convention. The RNC was held in Philly that year and I was still living in Philly at the time. *sniff* (I miss it so. frown ) I got to go to all the Daily Show parties and ate dinner w/ Comedy Central big-wigs on the company tab. biggrin

I think I was even interviewd by an MTV News correspondant one of those nights, but honestly, I was so drunk I don't really remember much of it OTHER than making a total ass of myself on camera. blush blackeyed

But I have some great memories, and pictures, of the Daily Show crew and I hanging out. My fav. is a picture of Mo Rocca and I taken in a Men's bathroom. I plan on using it as blackmail later when his career really takes off.

DAMN i've MISSED you!

The good news:

I got carded the other day for some energy drink that has so much caffeine that you have to be 18 to buy it. I was so weirded out that you have to be 18 to drink an energy drink that I didn't realize they CARDED ME FOR 18!!!!!

Bad lighting but I'll take it. wink

uh oh...its official....Im old....I dont get carded anymore frown but seriously, I need some Sarah time....someone who tells me how it is without the bs.......dude, cause Im in a world of shit right now......and on a positive note, Im glad you like your job....mine is cool but the constant shift change is making me feel a 1,000 yrs old right now.....my kids are forgetting what I look like..... surreal
lufy:
Carded for an energy drink? People actually do that? I mean, I understand carding for spraypaint or certain types of acidic compounds....but, uh, how bandly can someone get fucked up on caffeine? And what's the worst that'll happen? They'll stay up late and get a lot of work done? That doesn't sound that bad to me.

I haven't been carded since I was 17. I used to feel great about it at the time....but now I just feel old. And the thing is, I'm NOT old....I just look old. Which, again, is great when you're 17....but at 30....well, you feel a little down about it sometimes.

I'm glad you like your new job. I know what you mean about feeling over-worked. But you'll settle into a routine soon. It's always like that when you start a new position, somewhere.

Just out of curiosity, what is it you do, now?

OMG. Okay so yesterday I was having SG flashbacks to when I first joined a couple years ago and I remembered this chick that bugged the crap out of me. She didn't do anything wrong and there wasn't anything horribly obnoxious about her but she just got under my skin.

So then I began this obsession with finding out if she's still on the site....

Okay so I have a really long rant that most anyone would not want to read so I put it in the spoiler. If you don't have kids you probably won't care to read it as it's the meandering frustrations of a mother and I just need to get it out. So, if you are not interested in a long read proceed to the alt...

So buy Waylon a t-shirt and tell him you are proud of him.

To such a large degree we don't make our children's personalities so much as discover them and adapt to them. Not that you shouldn't try to teach good citizenship, but accept from the beginning that individual results may vary. Ultimately our only real victory condition is to love our children unconditionally.

Spring break is not so much fun this year. Yesterday I had a 7:00 am breakfast meeting with a partner at a law firm I have been interviewing with. Mind you, this is right after the time change and I was EXTRA surreal when we met.

Then today, with the sun shining brightly and the temp a balmy 62 or so, I am stuck taking some...

My dad has terrible problems with his feet. They say a lot of them could have been avoided, if only they'd been detected when he was younger. Good to know that they caught this in your son at an early age. smile

So I didn't get the commercial and that's fine with me. I really didn't want to do it and I think I'm going to really reconsider why I sign up for things like that. I'm thinking it's some kind of self torture and that I must enjoy freaking myself out and pushing the boundaries of my comfort zone.

Or something.

Ugh. So I went to an audition for a television commercial today. Sometimes I don't even know why I do these things. I mean, I feel completely ridiculous and I'd be shooting this thing in front of a green screen if I got it. I'd have my hair blowing around and I'd have to do the poised yet chipper talky-talk for the camera. That doesn't...
