long term relationships are usually full of shit. my parents are still together, and i dont admire them. they need one another. they are like siamese twins. neither can truly breathe, or cry, or fall in love. or adventure. they might as well be dead. anyway, it
sounds to me you have a really good attitude. or you try to. but say it. saying things is a kind of action, all by itself. like shouting "peace now" in the streets when there is a war on. (which there is) id do it too. it almost sounds though that you feel you need to justify your cynicism. you dont. your hearts a good one. love has a way of taking forms we dont expect. and i think, i know, its not always good. i mean, speaking of cliches! love can be strong as fuck and still be so wrong. i mean hurtful, to both parties. mentally, even physically. i know someone that killed for it. i ... not quite at that point yet... i may not even be as cynical as you are- : )

There was a point in my life where I became wholly consumed with the idea of dying. Through most of my youth (which is now all but fleeting), I was never afraid of it, and never cared about it one way or the other. Then one day I just became so afraid of dying, and the idea that I would no longer be able to enjoy even the simplest of things. It can definitely get overwhelming. Then I just sort of realized that short of not eating a can of lard everyday, or staying inside the crosswalks, there's nothing I can really do about it. I'll die when I die. I just have to try and make the most of the life I've got.

I am always amazed at photoshop work like this because I use it for nothing of the sort nor would I know where to begin. Your shading and color choices are fantastic, how Scanner Darkly of you.

Nice photos in your previous post. I don't know about photography, but yours are nice and crisp looking. I wish I knew how to take photos like that, especially of models. It would make my life easier. I like your photoshop self portrait also.
