isolation can be rough, but i also think it can teach you a lot about yourself. and sometimes you don't even realize how much until you start to "emerge" again.. in my experience, anyways.

re: go - it can't be done. the learning curve is far too steep. for me to play a noob is frustratingly humiliating for the noob and tedious for me.

you could 1. find another noob and learn against each other (best option) 2. suffer some time on yahoo games, getting trounced 3. maybe play against yourself?

any of the three options are fully worth it, it's a game in a class by itself, every game is like building a computational model of competition, it's a personality test, it's a reasonable replacement for reality.

actually i would offer to play you online, but i can't schedule my online time. my life is too messy.

hey, i came across your profile & checked out your wishlist (i admit it, i was looking for reading material for myself ) and i think the fact that the first things on it are books about rainwater catchment & passive solar is reason enough for me to request your friendship.
