You're coming to The Bay? Hangouts are required.
baudot:
I'll be out of SF starting in July on an assortment of trips, so we must hangout early!

  • Foodie amazingness
  • Rock climbing
  • Tourist stuff
  • OMG coffee
  • Chinatown wanders

Pick n>0 as mandatory hangouts.

Mexico is cooler than Texas in July? Re: website - we are still trying to put together additional content for you.
obd:
We do have renderings of two projects to go with the one built project we've photographed. We need to wrote some descriptions.

We have a big meeting tomorrow morning. Maybe we can get some things together in the afternoon.

Is life mostly good in your world at the moment (I hope so)?

And somehow I just noticed your comment on my blog.

The conference was really informative. I got a lot of good ideas about workflow and learned a bit about some of the deeper workings of Wordpress. The only major downside was that I was there by myself and didn't get to see many people while I was there, but I did meet some of the core WP developers.

Most, if not all of the talks are on the web site.

Pretty well spot on. As I have scored this way in the past on 3 other occasions, the most recent being fifteen years ago. Nice to see I haven't changed but I will test myself again in a month or so...

We don't even like him, here in Texas... except for crusty old bible thumping self-righteous fools who lost touch with reality a long time ago.

Suggest a new name for the Very Large Array!

This is even better than that time Austin asked the city to rename Solid Waste Services.

I'm pretty sure you have all seen this on Twitter or Facebook, but I finally got to see the VLA last week! I'm fighting a strong urge to pick up a dangerously obsessive radio astronomy...

In my down time? I dance, read, walk across countries, drink, make people laugh, try to be a better person, often fail, write. I have too many interests, it's my Achilles heel.
talamia:
Tori was splendid, she's the sweetest personality I have ever seen on stage (with a wickedly and tantalisingly crass edge) with such presence and charisma. I was blown away by how she sounded exactly like the studio recordings when performing live with nothing but her own voice and simultaneously playing two different pianos. Blown away!

I hope you're far away from the fires and safe. Keep safe.

I'm glad to hear it. Those fires sound truly awful. Stay safe.

I'm not the best in my pinball league, that's for damn sure. Some of these folks are incredibly serious about their pinball, and I have so much more fun. That said, I was ranked 18 out of 18 last week, and I've had to step up my game a little bit.

Week 1: 73 points
Week 2: 197 points
Week 3: 95 points
Week 4:...

I really enjoyed both the books and the movies of "Girl with a Dragon Tattoo". It's a bit gnarly but a really well written story.
obd:
Indeed. They may actually take me to Texas. In 2012.

Heyla to you also, if it's the pair I am thinking of they may have exaggerated the details in any of the wild stories they told you by the slightest of margins. wink
