here's to being beset by contentment! this has been a lovely summer, and i've found myself going out, being somewhat fearless. my syntesizer misses me though, and i always say: "you have to wait!"
i've been think about poetry based on tiny gestures, ones smaller than a penstroke.
here's a poem that i realized:
until the season
buries us, caves in on

Hey, just to let you know, I'm letting go of some of my art. No sales pitch or anything, I just thought you'd like to know.
Hope you're still doing alright.
I picked (er.. hotlinked) these paper flowers for you

Hope you're still doing alright.

thanks for the comment on my set

tension. passive-aggressiveness. what is this all about? the social world is a nightmare. starting to understand why i escaped.
X1,000. there is so much hurt out there. why do i leave my room? i just want to be a decent person, want to smile and be in the presence of those who feel cmfortable around me, enjoy me. my world hurts so much.

Death is not an event in life: we do not live to experience death.
If we take eternity to mean not infinite temporal duration but timelessness, then eternal life belongs to those who live in the present.
Our life has no end in just the way in which our visual field has no limits.
-Wittgenstein
presentness exists in the field. our presentness is considered a...

Re: the childhood thread in the foreign film group. I always worry about my friends when they say they're being particularly nostalgic about their childhoods; for me, it's one of the first signs that I'm getting depressed. Hopefully that isn't the case for you. Just checking on you, hope you're doing well.

pygmy:
I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you manage to pull yourself out of it. *hugs* And I can definitely sympathize with having a sad childhood. You deserve the best.
Die Reisen sind Die Reisenden and the Skywall look interesting. The latter somehow reminds me.. Well, when I was in particularly bad shape, I woke up early and really wanted to go on the roof to watch the sunrise. But I couldn't drag myself out of bed. So I spent two hours in my bed just watching the sky in the opposite direction getting lighter and lighter through frosted glass. It was just as beautiful.
I've had a number of thoughts on death recently.. But they've come and gone. Just like everything, eh? If there's one thing I'm good at, it's forgetting. Including what it was like to be dead, that is, before I was born.
Thank you, about the profile picture.. I was feeling.. I don't know, I think I was just listening to the church bells outside. And distracted with trying to figure out the self-timer on the new camera
p.s. sometimes when I'm feeling sad I try to remember something along the lines of this (don't know if you read it).. Maybe it'd help you, too. Take care

Thanks for the sweet comment on my set, it made my day.
one of my favorite to do is to go around my affluent neighborhood and listen to the windchimes. small, large, wooden, metal, i follow them. the thought, simply by placing something on your porch, you can make music. without thought, without expression, without creation. just a moment, present in a light gust.
just that, like many other experiences lead me back to death. like any...

Do you like Vasks?

Death is the release from all pain and complete cessation, beyond which our suffering will not extend. It will return us to that condition of transquility, which we had enjoyed before we were born. Should anyone mourn the deceased, then he must also mourn the unborn.

Good answers
Most of that's new to me
Maybe I will look into some when I regain a little more patience for abstraction.

the chills turned into a fairly mild upper respiratory infection. i was lucky: i did'nt get bronchitis. so a minor victory indeed! generally, i've been feeling less down, a little more talkative, and by chance made a new friend! i went to see xiu xiu (the band), and that was nice.
they have a passion that is uncommon in the "indy rock" field, and it...
