I’m sitting in the bath soaking my bones.

In contrast to everyone else, I’ve been slacking on my goals more in the first week of 2024 than I did all year in 2023. I haven’t been productive. I haven’t been active. My gym membership is starting to grow moss.

I’ve done nothing except eat garbage and play Baldur’s Gate. My sleep schedule is out of...

You’re a step ahead already by noticing what you want to do and having a list! It’s easy for many to say “just do it”, but everyone has their reasons. Most important thing is for you to get better from being sick, then you might be able to prioritize your list and not force anything so as to not injure yourself doing the ‘physical’ stuff and not frustrate yourself in writing. Get well, and Happy New Year!! We’re all rooting for you😍

We’re all just bits and pieces of other people.

My father gave me his cheekbones.

My mother gave me her trauma and her paper doll genetics. My maternal family is beautiful and fragile, with rips and crinkles and torn bits of ability. I am structurally unstable art like them.

My grandma gave me a love of crafting and taught me to bake bread when I’m

I’m friggin’ glad I came about this post. I’m reading this just after reading your blurb about how disappointed you are in your progress in 2024 so far. I’m reminded of all the cosmic stuff that came together to form us and the environment in which we can live. We’re made up of sooooo much. What would I say is uniquely ‘me’ about me? The symptoms of my disorder forced me to become something of an outsider looking in, for the most part, and I never really connected with those that share my opinion of the world at large. I’d say the bulk of me lies in there, somewhere.

Great blog!  There’s a quote I read a while back from someone called B.J. Neblett.  "We are the sum total of our experiences. Those experiences, be they positive or negative, make us the person we are, at any given point in our lives. And, like a flowing river, those same experiences, and those yet to come, continue to influence and reshape the person we are, and the person we become. None of us are the same as we were yesterday, nor will be tomorrow." I’m not sure what is uniquely “me” as my life took a number of sharp turns (both positive & negative) that changed everything…

My name is never-was.
My name’s forgotten.”

I’m in bed.

It’s past midnight. I can’t sleep. Even after years of 7, sometimes 8 am wake-up calls, my synapses don’t stop firing until well into the early morning hours. You’d think I’d have grown out of it by now.

You would think I would...

It’s a Tuesday in February. At home, I hear it’s grey and cold. The snow shows dirt stains from footprints and car exhaust. The sun is but a distant promise.

There was a small earthquake in Hamilton.

I am not home. Instead, as I write this, I’m topless by the pool at SGHQ, wind rustling in the citrus trees. The cheerful yellow of the lemons

That is an excellent post. Thank you for sharing. Where is home for you?  My home is my hometown again, but my heart was in Vancouver. But Rome and San Diego are very close, too.

Tomorrow is the International Day To End Violence Against Sex Workers.

This is a really important day for me.

Sex workers, especially queer and racial ices sex workers, are disproportionately shunned, face violence, isolation, and incarceration.

Maggie’s Toronto is a nonprofit that provides outreach, harm reduction, and advocacy for sex workers in all forms of sex work. They have sex worker parenting drop ins, workshops...

My loves, have you ever had those little moments of kismet, where all things fall into place in a weird and wonderful order? Have you ever met someone you were meant to cross paths with in a completely strange place?

When I was in Los Angeles last month, I popped by SGHQ. I wanted to shoot by the pool, so I came back the next

There are two dogs in my bed, but only one of them is mine.

The other belongs to my best friend, a dog I bought her a lifetime ago, when we were different people with different pronouns and different names —

before we were engaged, before we broke up —

and now I’m pup-sitting while she’s off enjoying Florida coastlines and having meetings at her

I’m so thrilled. After years of California dreaming, I’m going to be in Los Angeles!

I’m going on an adventure from the 11-14 of November, and then I’ll be in New York for a few days after that.

I’m going on an adventure with @tmronin to a Gatsby party and then dancing at Bar Sinister on the 12th. I’m so pumped to meet @kentkaliber and
