So many good times!

On Friday, danny_g and I drove to Edmonton for glass cat's birthday party. There was Twister! There was Guitar Hero! There was late-night drunken ordering of pizza by glass cat, who is very concise and polite on the phone while drunk. smile
We had to drive back to Calgary a mere 12 hours after arriving in Edmonton, due to danny_g's fight rehearsal.
Everyone should come see him fight (with swords!) in Scorpio's new production. More info coming soon, I'm sure.

On Tuesday, carla and FreakPirate came to visit! They had to go back to Edmonton this afternoon and now I miss them. frown

Tuesday
-decided we should bake something! Spent some time picking a good recipe.
-went to the grocery store to get supplies and bought some ramekins from Sears so we could make little cakes.
-went for all you can eat sushi/korean bbq. I foolishly forgot to bring my camera, but I captured the chopstick vs tongs fight on FreakPirate's camera. Maybe he'll send it to me.
-bought yummy tea.
-danny_g came over and helped with baking! He warned us that he screwed up boxed brownie mix before, so he was given the "read the directions to us" job.
-MOLTEN LAVA CAKES were produced and eaten with vanilla ice cream. They were really good. Once again, pics were taken, but not by me.
-Wii sports! Other Wii games!

Wednesday
-I worked from 8 until 11 in the morning and then we went for Dutch pancakes! Carla and I got ones with saskatoon berries and ice cream. FreakPirate had cherries, chocolate sauce and ice cream.
-wandering around Kensington. I saw FreakPirate do a few little happy dances in the used record store. Carla did her little happy dances in the used book store.
-cupcakes from Crave. Edmonton doesn't have a cupcake store so they clearly need to move to Calgary.
-we watched Carla play Trauma Center on the Wii. She killed one of her patients.
-played Super Smash Brothers! I mostly suck, but I won a few times. biggrin
-we spent far to much time on this quiz

-watched Dogma and stayed up very late trying to finish that stupid quiz. mad
-Carla says really cute things when she's half asleep.

Thursday
-tea was imbided and that quiz sucked our souls.
-there was discussion of putting me in a giant bag and bringing me back to Edmonton. Alas, one could not be found.
-home time. frown



Hopefully they will come back soon. Possibly for tea in the garden. wink

I did get one picture on my camera.

Oh man... that's true. I did say that didn't I. Well, I'll be honest, it's going to be "Boxcar" that reminds me of you for a long time.
