Okay. Gonna write something cheerful this time. Here goes.
Finishing the last part of Sacrilicious is way harder than I want it to be. (Bad start on the cheerful...)
At the Gates? Best twenty minutes I've ever written and it took me an hour to do. Jesus Vs. Superman? Solid hilarity, took me most of a day. The third part? I am eating it, as Matt Albie of my beloved and possibly doomed Studio 60 would say.
I'd had one idea I've been kicking around since, basically, the end of the Heracles tour in 2004 (has it been so long?). Finally finished it early this week. 7 pages, 3 of them funny. Weak sauce. So I immediately began another concept. I'm on page 4. It might work. It might not. Either way it's turned out to be harder than the other two combined. Blah.
By the blood of my ancestors I will turn out something brilliant by the end of April, I tell you what.
So Tuesday was fun. After watching Studio 60 and Lost with AC then declining to go to a costuming production meeting with Masquerade, I got to hang out with Michele, carla, and FreakPirate over at Michele's place. Cakes were baked. Wii sports was played. I gained a deeper understanding of how the wiimote works and how amusing Carla is while sleepy.
And it's never too soon to start thinking about when you'd like to watch The Three Musketeers. Running March 15-17, 21-24, and 28-31, it's the best theatrical experience you're likely to have in this province until Sacrilicious! rolls into your town this summer. Check out our website for more info.
