So, as you may recall, I went on a cruise last week with Barenaked Ladies and many other bands, including Guster. I figured I'd post about it.
First off, though, I should relate that I got my car into an argument with a barrier the day before I left. I'm okay, but you can read the lengthy story about it if you like.

As for coming to visit... I'm not sure. I'll have to find a convenient time for people in Edmonton. I could probably come down for more than a day if I had a place to stay.

Clearly. 'Cause I don't see myself being able to leave Calgary on a Wednesday until, like, April. Except that week I'm in the Carribean, which frankly only makes it harder to get to Edmonton and back.
Also, you lot should totally pop down here in late March and catch Three Musketeers. Between myself, Michele, AC and whatnot I bet we can house as many of the Edmonton crowd as can be convinced to come. Also, after the Khristmas Kabaret night Team Scorpio owes Team Edmonton a kick-ass house party.
What shall we see on Broadway? I've heard that Avenue Q and The Drowsy Chaperone are excellent. We should buy pretzels from a street vendor and spin around in Times Square like you'd see in the movies.
I have labcoats! I just need to remember them for next time...
A fountain made with some sort of red carbonated beverage would be fantastic also.
Well I'm going to be burning copies of Scrubs for myself so I can watch them. They'll be around.
Things have been pretty good this week. But I'm looking forward to seeing people again. Sitting around my parents' basement is only appealing for so long.
And Smuffy predicted romantic stuff in my future so I'm anxious to see if she's right.
So, I'm pausing long enough in my writing of an assignment that I'm feeling incredibly stuck on (no time to do a big thing before 4:30, nothing worth writing that can be written in 3.5 hours) to go have lunch and hope that inspiration will strike.

Good for you. It's a nice feeling - accomplishment. I wish I knew it better.... I just tried to pooper-scoop my very frozen yard. It didn't work. And that was the *only* thing I absolutely had to do today, and I failed, miserably.
