I haven't posted in ages...again!
A couple of things happened to me over the last week that brought a lot of memories come back to the fore that I'd rather hadn't. All to do with an old flame. A girl I can't ever seem to get out of my fucking head.
On a brighter note, work is gradually getting better. It's not perfect but it's loads better than last year.
I've even got a swear jar to try to reduce the obscenities that come out of my mouth.
I also got to see NIN during the week. They were amazing. Even better than when I saw them last (2 years ago during the With Teeth European Tour). My only complaint was that prior to them coming on they had the smoke machine going into overdrive. As a result, it took about 5 songs before I could see that anyone was actually on the stage. They played everything that I'd expect - Head Like A Hole, Hurt, Closer, March Of The Pigs. I do wish he'd play more from Pretty Hate Machine (he also played Something I Can Never Have but what about Sanctified and more importantly Ringfinger?).
I've been spending my solitary time (which is a lot of time these days - I swear I'm turning myself into a social hermit) catching up with movies. I started renting from Amazon which has allowed me already to catch up on some of the movies I missed out on last year.
Other than that, I've been Wii-ing. I managed to get a perfect 300 in bowling last week (by pure fluke I think) and having progressed pretty well with Tennis, I took a fresh Mii and managed to beat the champion after playing 35 games (turned Pro at the same time). I'm now toying with either getting Excite Truck or Sonic - although I might wait and just buy SSX Blur. I wish Trauma Centre would hurry up and come out - the European release schedule has been pretty messed up IMO although it's nowhere near as bad for the Wii as it is for the NDS. It's so much easier to import DS games in rather than wait 6 months to buy the games here. That's what I'll probably do with Zelda - The Phantom Hourglass.
Don't have much else to say at the moment.
