Yet again I've adopted another disaster in the making and the board have highlighted the importance of it being resolved. It seems my job is now pretty much established as the fixer.
I just want to part of a project from start to finish - at least then I'll have ownership of any disaster that might occur.
It also looks like the door to US secondment has been permanently closed. They're sending another guy over to California for 6 months. I don't even think I was considered.
On a better note, Fishbone played King Tut's on Wednesday and it was fucking amazing. The whole place had so much energy - it was the best gig I've been to in a long while. I must admit, I found it quite funny watching guys my age relive their youth crowd-surfing. Like I said, the place had a lot of energy.
