"Oh to suck the marrow out of life, so that I will not come to death and find that I had not lived." H.D.T. (This may not be exact, it is from memory).
Just watched Dead Poet Society again. Got me thinking about life. I identify with Niwanda. Ready to just full force into art and not look back. I can't bite my tongue, and there is a certian point where practicality goes out the window.
All in all I remember being a little kid and seeing people take control of their lives, their destiny, for better or for worse, being true to themself. I remember wondering if I could ever be that brave. Bravery was always very important to me.
There have been times that I look in the mirror and Im so proud of myself. I feel that I have become one of those free thinking people, like Niwanda.
There are also times where I feel dragged down by time and responsibility. School takes up so much of my life I don't have alot of time for art. And the cold makes it hard for me to make outfits, one of my favorite arts to this day, cuz most of the stuff I like to make is kinna... skimpy, at least the female stuff. As for the male stuff, its going to cost some money for me to get materials to pass. Money I don't have.
I guess I just feel the need to do something crazy.

I'd love to meet up with you sometime soon - we could go to the Daily Grind on Lark Street - but my favorite place is the Ultraviolet Cafe on Delaware next to the Spectrum Theatre. The Ultraviolet has excellent tea (or coffee if that's your choice) and delicious panini sandwiches.
let me know what you think
