Oh my, oh my, oh my, why the hell did I have to run into her yesterday?

do let me know if you're heading back to the Ultraviolet - I go there all the time, and we will probably eventually end up meeting anyway
remuemenage:
O Abunai

just checking in

wondering how you've been

what with all this horrible weather and the end of the semester looming - I bet you are feeling under the gun like me

just wishing you well

in love and life

Despite the short messages I have been leaving, as opposed to my normally long rants, I have still managed to bite off more than I can chew. I classic habit of mine. Lovely perfectionist complex my dad left me with. Oh well, it has its advantages.

O Abunai

I guessed that something was up - and I am completely sympathetic

academic stress gets to me, I only take two classes a semester for that reason

wishing you well - and looking forward to bumping into you on Sunday

continue to fight the good fight, and rock the body rock
remuemenage:
we have the worst luck

I was at the Ultraviolet at three - but wasn't feeling so well .... so I had a couple of hot chocolates, and then I left

I think it was close to 4

maybe we should just leave it at that - I'm having fun chatting with you here

meeting you in person would be perhaps more than I could bear

the fact that we share the same space ... is enough

What exactly does one feel at the death of a stranger?

May he find the light in his lives beyond this. Blessed Be.

I missed you again on wednesday - if in fact you meant to go

I'm happy just knowing you're alive
remuemenage:
I've lost interest in the Ultraviolet Cafe - though it is conveniently within walking distance and they serve this GenMaiCha tea that I adore (they keep filling my pot)

I think the best coffeehouse in the area is the Daily Grind in Troy - they have an open mic, and a liquor licence - great food, cool kidbaristas, live music occasionally

it really is the best

I saw the madness destroyed by the best minds of my generation....

Mourn the Ginz, don't forget him... don't forget the legacy of madness...

On an unrelated note...

Happy Ostara to you too!

Because I am in the southern hemisphere we celebrate Lammas ... the last harvest ... it is swiftly becoming winter here frown

PS: I just love the Wheel of Time

I have a book that captures a poetry reading in The Royal Albert Hall in London in word and photograph

Gregory Corso
Lawrence Ferlinghetti
Allen Ginsberg
Andrei Voznesensky
and others

I'll have to lend it to you - it's fucking brilliant

Wholly Communion

looking forward to meeting you on Sunday

Beware: the starving hysterical nakeds are angry.

Please remember their legacy, before it is too late.

anger is a passion I am familiar with

I dropped by the Ultraviolet for about an hour - but I seemed to have missed you blackeyed

I suspect the daylight savings time change threw us off - I wouldn't have picked up on it if not for my computer

let's try it again sometime - the Ultraviolet is perhaps the best coffeehouse in town (because they serve a delicious variety of tea - as well as European drinking chocolate)

the only place I like better is the Daily Grind in Troy

Troy is something of a mystery to me - but it has a funky underground art culture that I have just tapped into. Last Thursday I went to an anarchist party celebrating international woman's day .... with various film installations of women artists and live music. It was a helluva lot of fun. the best part about it was it was free (those anarchists don't believe in capitalism) free booze - free art - and free music

"Oh to suck the marrow out of life, so that I will not come to death and find that I had not lived." H.D.T. (This may not be exact, it is from memory).
Just watched Dead Poet Society again. Got me thinking about life. I identify with Niwanda. Ready to just full force into art and not look back. I can't bite my tongue, and...

I'd love to meet up with you sometime soon - we could go to the Daily Grind on Lark Street - but my favorite place is the Ultraviolet Cafe on Delaware next to the Spectrum Theatre. The Ultraviolet has excellent tea (or coffee if that's your choice) and delicious panini sandwiches.

let me know what you think

Yay for Murphys Law. So I have a free weekend and my professors simultaneously decide to give me tons of work and to top it all off I get sick. Did I mention yet that I **hate** snow? 2ft yesterday and apparently my street isnt important enough to get plowed after they made us move the cars so they could plow. But the streets perpendicular...

hey lady

sorry you got snowbound. I love the snow (it's been about 4 years since we have had so much) - but this storm was oppresive and disruptive

but I am a snowbird

I love to go snowshoeing on starry nights - to rocket & glide on x-country skis

I will always have to live in a Northern clime - cold invigorates me, I melt in the heat

sorry to hear about your second rejection - it is hard to know what they are looking for ... you are so worthy

I love your body - I love your mind

we share the same space - perhaps we should get together for coffee or tea or the beverage of your choice

could be good!

be well - sweetlovely

School is taking so much time Im never on here anymore frown. Altho part of that was genicon considering I didnt do anythign else over the weekend(yay anime!), and the tatoo convention this weekend will likely have a similar effect. I still haven't figured out what Im going to do about the super bowl. Weekend after I will prolly start having more time and then...

Well as I said before I have an answer to my question, so I will indeed post it. Obviously my companions in the room can not both be correct, but this does not mean they can't both exist since people can lie and be mistaken. Besides their words (which become obsolete if they don't exist) I have no reason to think they don't exist. So...

Ug Murphy's Law is attacking me hard core. I have an answer to my posed question, but I don't really feel like discussing it at the moment. So perhaps later.

Once I started a book comprised of 5 parts. The first part was entitled "The Week of Murphy's Law" and was 100 hand written pages. Shortly after finishing the first part and begining the second...

I wish you well with your monetary concerns - I'd like to be able to help, if you would let me

-----------

is that a line from Robert Frost - it sounds like him

I do love Mr. Frost - recently a book came out of his working notebooks in which you can see the painstaking method he used to work through his poems to the final product ... it is said to be quite insightful

the way he picks up an idea and works with it is unique and wonderful and fully realized in these notebooks newly released

be well - sweet child

I am pleased with how well the semester is going. School actually seems energizing, which is good, I think I was stuck in a rut. My set is done too, just need to get the damn thing to submit right, but it keeps giving me stupid errors, and it doesn't seem to want me to post a question to ask y it won't work for...

Bearing in mind I don't know any Latin to speak of, I'm guessing that the translation of "cogito ergo sum" as ""I think therefore I am" leaves a little to be desired.
I'd guess that "thinking is being" would be a better translation into modern English; that is, Descartes is echoing Socrates (IIRC), "the unexamined life is not worth living".

I am probably completely wrong smile

Ah only one weekend left before school...

Soon it will be time to work my ass off with useless dribble to earn a piece of paper that will allow me to do other stuff for other pieces of paper, these which happen to be green.
