I'm afraid I don't understand.

I"m not too certan which way the causality was flowing, feeling a bit sad & depressed and not feeling real insipred to do the drawing. Therre was a couple sitting at a table next to me, fighting to stay awake with a lot of keno cards lying on the table next to them. I wondered what they had done or had happened to put them in that position. I was having some "there but for the grace of god" -type thoughts.

I've decided against the writing thing this year. I'm focusing instead on finishing once and for all the novella thing I've been fiddling with for the last five years. Good luck with nanowrimo, though.

I've thought for years now that Hallowe'en was done with in this country. Turns out, if last night was anything to go by, that it was just that there haven't really been any kids in our area for years, so no guisers (i.e. trick or treaters). There were loads around last night, yelling and whooping. It was quite heartening - the tradition I'd thought had died is alive and kicking after all.

yeah he was a pretty with it dude to predict what was going to be happening for the rest of the century and into this one. if you want to watch a really great film, watch Why We Fight. it talks a lot about how the country progressed from a non-militan country to one with the most powerful standing army. really interesting stuff.

yes, quality time it's always a bit awkward to come back to visit the parents, seeing my dogs on the other hand, nothing weird about that (just lots of wet doggy kisses and furry hugs).

that's how i usually feel about updates too...but there are things that i'd like to write about, at the same time though, i don't know if it's stuff i should really share, and also, i wonder would anyone find it relevant and interesting except for me. haha...

I dunno if roller derby kicks ass because I have yet to see it in action, but hopefully even if it does, the crowds will be sparse at this particular event so I can make the moves on the chickie more easily, ya know?

Kung Fu! Of course! Thanks! That was the one I was trying to remember; I was a big fan of it many moons ago, not for the fight scenes but for the little nuggets of wisdom he came out with: "When words are as good as silence, better to remain silent." I love that stuff.
