i couldnt name a chord to save my life. been playing for a few years now and never took a lesson. i did it the hard way. learning what fret on what string made the sound i was looking for. dont do it my way. sound advice.

I suffered from the need to get up to snuff, well who am I kidding, I still suffer the need, with my cello, after not playing for quite a few years. The best I can tell you is scales, arppeggios, and chords. (Probably first chords, I would say double and triple stops lastly for cello, but chords may be something more idiomatic to guitar that if you get them the other stuff probably follows.....) Getting back into cello the worst was getting the callous back on my left thumb, which on cello is used like a capo...anywho, it sounds like you still have good dexterity in your right hand, all I can say is keep doing....as in....excuse me....can you tell me how to get to carnegie hall......practice!!!!!

I buzzed my hair off before. It was fun. I think there's pics on here. Left a little mini mohawk. But it's been dreaded up for about two and a half years now and is just a little past my shoulders. I need updated hair pics on here, thanks for the reminder.
