I had a hard drive crash 4 weeks ago and only got access to my email on Monday. I had over 1300 emails to go through and reply to. I'm slowly getting there (going from oldest to newest first). So you may have to wait a while. Sorry!

...and I, who am nearly always totally broke, managed to squeeze buying a whole set for this worthy cause... so that's 3 out of 5!. Surely there must be others?

I know many people say they have 'no money'... and I don't mean to be rude, but I think many people use this as a phrase, as they'll go and have a few beers at a pub. If any of you drink and smoke, please consider forgoing a couple of pints and a pack of fags for a good cause? Like Cherry said, just 1 print is something. You don't have to buy a whole set.

Sorry if I've gone on... it just saddens me for the hard work Cherry has put into making these photos and wavering her fee, and for all the others involved.

I'm a hundred kinds of envious of those who get to go. It's really the mother of all festival gigs, in my book. Reading is the kind of gig that every american festival (as well as most european) takes its lead from. So if any of you out in the UK feel some sort of strange need to adopt a trilobyte so I can come out there, attend a few group events, and possibly get into some kind of trouble, please look me up.

On reflection, my first instinct at the top of this thread was the right one. This poor soul is mired in an unsavory mixture of guilt, political correctness and moral superiority which mere facts, logic or reason will not dislodge. Hung out to dry? Good heavens. Lets hope he never finds out that hopefuls are regularly flogged in the town square until they learn to do better, or he will probably find fault with that too. SG will always have final say in which sets are bought, but Member Review gives SG staff the chance to see what the members are most interested in seeing. It also gives models a chance to build up a fanbase and get feedback about her sets and her modeling. Every girl who has applied to SG has her own reasons for wanting to model for the site, and one thing I've learned as Model Coordinator is money is not the main factor for most ladies!

Before my comment is buried amid all of the speculation and debate, I'm going to close the thread.
