I'm never on here anymore. My friend's baby ended up not having down's syndrome or heart defects and is prefectly healthy ^_^

I can't wait until I get the money my aunt is supposed to give me so I can finally buy a laptop. It was supposed to be here three weeks ago but it's tied up somewhere with the investment place.

I hate feeling like I'm crazy all the time. It's not fun.

Work kind of sucked. Some other stuff kind of sucked. We need to go to the grocery store. People are being really flakey, which really pisses me off, especially when it's about important stuff. I think I have bad interpersonal skills. Or maybe not, because I get along with a lot of people...

Lol!
Sorry. It's funny because it sounds like what I say all the time.
bentman:
Yeah, for me even when I went to an art college I never quite related to any of the students, save a chosen few. But I never went to college to make friends anyway. It also didn't help when I was an RA and I busted a few parties. Oops. wink

Things have been kind of depressing lately. There's just a lot of shit to deal with and I'd really like to get away from it all for a little while. Lots of personal problems to deal with (most of them aren't mine), and as always, lots of work to do. I had two finals today, I have a take-home one due Friday, and I have...

it'll turn on, but it won't run windows. sounds like it won't be that bad (hopefully). now i just have to get off my ass and tear my room apart looking for my warranty info. i thought about going to doit, but if my warranty covers this shit then it'll be free through gateway. plus i probably won't have time to get it fixed until after i get back, when i won't be a student anymore. ah well. i could probably just flash them my student id and they'd help me.
kiki:
I would but theyre in the only bunny safe place in the apartment, since they like to hike their legs up and pee outside their cage they must remain on the linolium.

Looking up library schools + bsl laws. So far it looks like most of Canada is out, the UK is out, most of Europe is out. Neaw Zealand or the Netherlands are really unlikely. Belgium, Switzerland, South Africa, and Israel are in. But South Africa has AIDS and Israel is in a war. Plus, it looks like all the library schools in Israel are religious,...

What ever made you think I dont have the right qualifications to be a librarian? Maybe I'm a brain child? . hrm.

You need a library science degree to hold a position in a library like coordinator ect. You dont need a degree to check out books.

Anyone who is in Madison up for a party tomorrow? Maybe?

I slept all day. I was supposed to go to my dad's. I should've gone because I need more money. After I got up, I went running, and then I came back and did the dishes, and now I'm sitting in the living room. Liv and Vash and Cal are watching Donne Darko....

I haven't seen Donnie Darko either. Not sure if I want to; it hasn't really sparked my interest.

Princess Bride is a great fuckin' movie. Inigo Montoya is what does it for me. No, I'm not going to type the line that everybody quotes from him - I've heard it 100000 times before as well! smile

Have fun partying in Madison tomorrow!
wardy:
i really dig movies. but i can say that i'm biased towards the ones with the happy sappy crappy endings. fucking hollywood. the ladies i live with think i'm pessimistic or something. i love hitchcock! whatever, that's just me.

i haven't been around SG as much...sorry frown i'll try to be a better friend.

I went to my aunt's funeral today. It was all right. I'm pretty socially awkward, especially with my family, and I didn't really know my aunt very well, but I got to see a lot of people whom I don't see very often, so that was nice.

Except that a lot of my relatives treat me like I'm scum. And I'm just polite! I do...

I have a lot of stuff to do, but I'm being lazy.

Things are okay with Neil. I thought we were going to break up but then we talked about what he was worried about and now things are going all right. I always worry that because we have stuff like this come up every month or so, that's a bad sign, but then we...

relationships are always toublesome. as long as there's a strong communication btw you and the boy, i can foresee that it's all good. i myself, may some day be mature enough to handle a real one. i know what a real one takes, that's why i'm taking my time starting one.

aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggh. death everywhere. yeah, people need to watch themselves. extremes on any level is bad. i live with a health nut and she constantly badgers people around her to eat this and that. i'm young and healthy. i think it's about half genetics and half what you do (or don't do) i think your mind is something to cherish, but it can't operate smoothly on mc donalds french fries.

ah, not sure. i quit over a month ago so i'm not really acquainted with all the people that are in/joining now. i had too much school to do. but i'm graduating on dec. 19th, and then i'm gonna join up again. so if i see her there, i'll say hi. smile

I'm really behind in school. I need to get caught up. I've been sleeping *a lot* lately, too. And I haven't been going running or working out at all. A lot of things seem to be bothering me more than they normally would. Maybe I have seasonal depression, but I've never gotten it before.

I went to declare my major today ^_^ It was a...

If you didn't own a dog, I would definitely look into traveling abroad. Going to other countries is so much fun and really eye-opening.

But I can also understand why you'd want to stay. I'll take a look at those websites, I think BSL laws are a crock of shit; I'll also notify the Wisconsin Libertarians about this, I'm sure they'll have something to say about the matter as well.

This probably isn't going to make much sense to anyone except me, unless you've worked at the library, but I thought it was funny:

I have to deal with lots of creepy guys at work. Some of them are scary, some make me angry, and some are just annoying. Today, for some reason, every single nasty guy who comes in there regularly, was there, and...

hm that's a lot you're asking, i don't know much of the official stuff by heart like regulations and all that but i'll try looking up some government websites.

crime is on the rise here at the moment, especially in the more urban western parts of the netherlands but these are tense times. (still doubt it's anything like america)
anyway amsterdam is one of the most expensive places to live, i suppose kinda like new york in america.
also housing prices are at a alltime high here if you intend to buy, i'm not sure how rental prices are. (i still live at home since my parents live about 10 minutes from school and the campus is a hour away)

also since we're having quite a bit of problems with immigrants our immigration laws are currently under review but i doubt they'd affect you much.
they're suggesting stuff like making it mandatory for people to learn basic skills in speaking dutch to avoid the masses of muslim immigrants we're getting with no intention of adapting.

anyway i'll try to look into some official websites for you, if you want to talk or something in the meantime my messenger stuff is under the contact tab on my profile.
snottlebocket:
nah, murder is still rare enough here that it's a news worthy when it happens.
as for prices in amsterdam i'd have to ask around, i just know that the west of the netherlands is the most expensive to live since it's the most metropolitan and amsterdam is probably the most expensive place in the netherlands.
