in other news, guess what... this is my last day of work. it's strictly packing and cleaning shit for the next week, go us. so 7 days from now i'm not gonna be lying about my location in my profile. the down part is, i have no computer that can effectivly process my internet access. i'm working strictly PS2, so sorry to my small list of SG friends, i'm not gonna be around to drop random notes here and there, or make an ass out of myself in the gamers group.

i just cancled all my services (cable, internet, phone, power) and paid rent at my current place for the last time. we barely started official packing last night, but we have a load of shit to get rid of, box up, and get ready to ship off.
when we moved in, it took us a day to pack up all of our stuff. in fact we finished packing on moving day and got everything into the house. who'da thunk that we aquired so much crap in the last year, let alone enough to nessecitate a whole lot more boxes than we did before.

the ordeal that is getting my apartment is OVER!!!!!!!!!
why ordeal you ask? well, for starters, we went to vegas sunday night after a whole day full of drama and not doing much.
so we get on the road at almost midnight, when we meant to leave by 9:30, we get to kat's aunt's condo where we normally stay, and after a big debacle at the local saloon while trying to find vegan eats for the girls (god i hate vegans!) we crash.
we were supposed to get up early and be out the door by 10AM to sign our leases and look for jobs, we ended up actually leaving by 2:30PM even though i was the only one awake at 10AM, then fell back asleep because no one was paying much attention to me when i was waking them up... i hate being the only person to have any kind of slight sense of actually trying to accomplish jack shit.
so we get out the door and off to our new apartment to sign everything, wait in the lobby for about 30 minutes, then someone who's temping for the day asks us what's up... we tell her we're here to sign our lease and such, and we're told the person in charge of our paperwork A) isn't there... and when asked if we could get someone else to do it with us we're told B) that our paperwork isn't even fucking prepared.
now you see, we gave the word that we'd be down there on monday 2 weeks ago... how hard it is to coallate 12 pieces of paper in 14 days i'll never know, but we were all pissed off since we had to be back to work yesterday. needless to say that didn't work out... we tried going looking for jobs and kathryn's the only one who had anything lined up. i picked up applications for fry's and gamestop, and that's about all the time we had. and more debacles at lunch and dinner over the validity of the veganess of the food we were eating...
i swear to christ, vegas is the wrong place to have an alternative diet... i wanted to cut nikki's throat for bouncing back and forth on her vegan goals. first she wouldn't eat bread because it was probably made with eggs, she wouldn't have a pizza with all veggies and no cheese cos they probably use butter in the pan, then she wouldn't eat fucking pasta cos it's just eggs water and flour... yet she finally ate some angle hair pasta and breadsticks (with garlic butter), to which i yelled at her for because she's a fucking idiot!
aaaagh!!!! i stand by my ideals on how much vegans piss me off when trying to eat anything by them, or trying to find an accomodating place for them to eat... now you see the other reason why i stopped with vegitarian, cos i don't want to be an annoying dipshit and ask everyone if they cook stuff in vegetable oil or not and the contents of your salad dressing.
well... now we're home, we have our apartment after wasting an entire day in vegas, but it's ours now, and we have our little card keys to get in the gate, yay for us... now i'm done.

it's a crying shame that we just found this really sweet bar down around (but not in) west hollywood, that has the best kareokee selection ever... i mean they even have fucking love will tear us apart in there! who the hell ever has love will tear us apart? and best of all, they have my favorite van halen song, that contains (in my opinion) the 2nd greatest rock riff ever written next to the ocean by led zeppelin.
