Sweeeedeeennnn....
So I spent my first week in Sweden sick! Damn planes! Haha. But I finally feel better today, so things are looking grand. Weather here the past few days has been crazy! It literally went from ~10 degrees to ~25 degrees the last few days. Love it, love getting to wear my skirts!
I haven't really been up to much, I have walked downtown a few times and ate out, saw a movie, and that is all except for being in clinical!
Working at this hospital is a lot of fun. Everyone is very laid back... VERY laid back. Like, tomorrow I am wearing jeans to work because I am getting pissed about wear white pants. I don't know about everyone else, but I am not a plain pale underwear sort of gal! I have a lot of dark colours and a lot of patterns (lol, I can't believe I am journaling about my underwear!!!)!! And they SHOW THROUGH THE FREAKING ISSUE SCRUBS HERE!! ALL day I am just like "OMIGOD EVERYONE CANS SEE MY LEOPARD PRINT UNDERWEARRRRRRRR!!!!!!" I went to try to get a dress scrub top today (yes, girls can get a dress scrub), which comes in blue! And they refused to give me one, they said only nurses could wear them! I ran into my instructor on the way back, all flustered and explained my problem too him... Even the underwear part... LoL! And he said it was fine that I wear my jeans, he didn't care at all. In fact (I guess I got on a tangent there...) a lot of the nurses wear their own jeans and just the issue tops. Also, SANDALS!? They wear sandals in the hospital! It is crazzyyyy. At home you would NEVER get away with it. It is way laid back. I slept in one day two hours late because my cold and coughing/hacking kept me up till 3am... When I got to the hospital my instructor was just like "Yeah, it happens. No big deal" At home, instructors would be FREAKING out!
Anyway! Clinical is fun! (except the pants issue - but now that is resolved)!
On one of the walks downtown.... A TURTLE!!! (also <10min before getting caught in thunder/lightening showers)
I probably made like 10 thousand spelling errors but I am off to meet a fellow student for fika, so rush, rush rush!! <3

The job is temporary sorta. My hubbie's company has a contract to run their bookstore for a few more years (2 1/2) and we will be here at least until then. I don't know past that, but this is really the only job here. It's retarded.
I hope your travels are good! Can't wait to hear more.
So sorry that you spent the first 10 days sick!! Boooo... but glad you're feeling better.
I actually do have plants at my place, that was just the living room
ps: thanks for the kind words about the music!
