Well, it's that time of the year again. I'm updating.
I got out the motorcycles last week. It promptly snowed. I need to sell the old bike to help pay for the new one. 2005 Yamaha Venture. I bought it last March. An hour before Sophi's mother called to say she wasn't moving out of state. It was an economical decision for an hour. The mother still doesn't know I have it - and she has to pay me child support (Ah, the irony of it all). Tomorrow after work I get to drive to Girdwood (30 miles south) to have dinner at a fancy restaurant with my softball team (just to sign contracts). But I can't find anybody to ride down with me. Oh well.
It's Sophi's 5th birthday on Saturday, April 22. She will be with her mother that day but I get her back on Sunday morning. We need to bpick up her cake at Sam's Club. It is a Care Bear cake adn will say 'Happy Birthday Grumpy Bear.' She always pretends to be Grumpy. I'm either Brave Heart Lion or TenderHeart Bear (she knows me so well). I found, and ordered, some Grumpy Bear stuff from Ebay. Grumpy isn't made any more so he is hard to find. I have a ton of stuff to clean up and organize for the party. We are going rollerskating from 2-4 and then my house to BBQ for the rest of the day. There could be 40+ people at the party(s). I have to pay $6 for each person that goes skating. They better skate.
I'm also building a shelf unit in the corner of my living room so as to get the electronis and TV out of the entertainment center and save floor space. My house isn't very big and toys seem to rule the floor space. Now if the ferret would just die (kidding) so I could get his huge cage (I built) out of here. I recently found some metallic purple paint (Ralph Lauren) and painted one wall in the living room. It's cool. I'm going to paint Sophi's room a metallic pink (her choice).
Volleyball season just ended (we won the city tourney) and softball...
