sigh
Monday night at about six or so I was headed back to work with my newly acquired Ham & Swiss on rye...
for an Idea of the magnitude of this Sandwich.
...I noticed I was being followed. I slowed my pace, my pursuer also slowed, I sped up as did my stalker. Finally I got back to the comic shop, I rushed to un-latch the door and get inside. She followed me in.
I decided to play it cool, I went and sat behind the counter and began to unwrap my mammoth sandwich. She followed me behind the counter. I couldn't continue this game with her. I offered her some of my ham and she greedily accepted without a word, and after wolfing down a healthy sized portion of my dinner she ran off to sleep under the manga display. I finally broke the awkward silence.
"You have got to be fucking kidding me." I said.
She just looked dead straight into my eyes from under the book rack and meowed.

So still no word from HARMONIX, but I'm hoping that's because of E3 prep. On the other hand the Comic shop gig is super fun. I basically work at a library for comics which is pretty sweet, and I'm on the books which means I'm paying taxes for the first time in 4 years so that's.......fun, I guess. Whatever at least i get to ride the bike finally.
I am trying to figure out financial aid for school this September, I am honestly a little overwhelmed by it. I didn't go to college after high school and as weird as it is going back to school 15 years later its even weirder without the aid of guidance counselors. So hopefully school is easier to get into then these...
So here I am goofing off playing Gears of war trying to rack up achievement points (read as "Nerd Points") and all of a sudden two nerd worlds collided when this popped up.

I'm sure some of you are confused by my ridiculous ramblings, let me elaborate. There are enemies in the game known as berserker's which are next to impossible to kill, its so difficult the Game creators made an achievement out of it. The creators of Gears of War are apparently fans of Kevin Smith's films
/funny

It was when I was doing research on going back to school, it dawned on me that Its been 15 years since I sat in a classroom. Now a decade and a half later and I'm going back. Talk about nerve racking.
