Sorry I haven't been around for a bit, but I'm pretty much over this site. It's been sorta' building for a while, and it's come to an official head tonight. Long story short, I'm pretty disgusted with the "real" SuicideGirls and I'm writing this blog in order to get my account zotted. I'll include some helpful literature at the end in order to both inform you further of what I'm talking about and to expedite the process.

Speaking on a personal level, the first straw, for me, was when I began to notice just how many sets of fake tits were going pink. Now, let me come out on record right now as saying I have absolutely nothing against people that choose to have breast augmentation surgery. However, the fact that this site is marketed as a supposed alt porn website and features girls like Lovely is a fucking laugh.

The second incident occurred when I voiced that very opinion in the Big Boob Appreciation forum and got absolutely lacerated by quite a few members and SuicideGirls. When I stated my opinion that breast augmentation stood contrary to the stated M.O. of the website, I had SGs actually telling me that fake tits are a "body mod", like something like a dermal punch or some shit.

My third run-in was immediately following the most recent site re-model and the bru-hah-hah resulting from a "Suicide Boys" tab being added to the photos link on the site's main page. After browsing some groups I came across a thread in one of the official site forums where scores of SGs were basically running a neck-and-neck race to see who could be the biggest whiny bitch on the issue in question. The very fact that it was a problem to begin with raised my eyebrows. It's a tab that's clearly labeled. The only people that are going to see the photos are the people that want to see the photos. If you don't want to see the photos, don't click the link. But apparently, quite a few SGs...

The girls were complaining about things like having to "share the spotlight", which was my first clue of an even bigger issue that I'll touch on momentarily. SGs were being absolutely brutal to the "Suicide Boys" that posted in the thread in response to their complaints, going so far as to call them the crybabies and insult their physical appearances. For a site that "prides" itself on supposedly being a haven for girls that want to escape that very sort of judgment from society as a whole, it seemed quite peculiar indeed that these featured models would go about business this way. I let them know. My account was threatened by a moderator.

Fourth, one afternoon, I was browsing the site's newsfeed when I came across an article about several SGs coming out to attend the premier of "Captivity". I find torture porn to be repulsive as a whole - not because I lack the stomach for it, but rather because it is just that, pornography, devoid of taste or art or purpose or merit of any kind, pointless gore and humiliation and depravity with no underlying story or characters - but "Captivity" was a new low, in my eyes. The entire movie is basically Elisha Cuthbert getting tortured for an hour and a half while the film does its best to present the shorter view that she, in some way, could possibly deserve her fate while at the same time sending the more distant message that one of the reasons she does could be because she's a woman. So, sure, of course, when I think of all those things... I think of "female-empowering woman-friendly rock porn". First thing.

This has gone on too long, so I'll make the rest brief. The site's real owner is a radical right-wing nutjob. The site re-sells its photographs to mainstream pornography sites without compensating or consulting the models. The site's highly-trained team of lawyers is set on permanent attack mode, and the caretakers have no problems whatsoever threatening to sic them on ex-talent. The whole being banned from a website you fucking pay for and probably have paid for for months just because of your opinion thing. The complete and total lack of integrity from a good portion of the models here - "do you wanna buy a print/tee shirt/book me please please please?"
