Thirty-dos... Holy shit.
I will now refer to my age as thirty plus a couple. It will get bad when I have to start saying thirty plus a few, give or take.
Tattoo update coming soon. Sleeve is about to be 60% finished. Boom.

Thought I would open this blog with a winner. I laugh just as hard at this now as when I was 13. That may or may not be a good thing, but right now I think it is.
So I have to say I am really disappointed with Halloween in Europe. What the fuck. I wish this holiday had more global recognition because I really miss it. Here in Austria, we do have a similar holiday in spring time called Fasching but it's just not the same. Please Euroland... embrace the awesomeness that is known as Halloween. Fun is for everyone, let's get to it.
In about a week, I will be getting the 3rd installment of my sleeve and I PROMISE to post pics up. It will be at a fun enough level to where I want to share it with you, the interweb. Get excited, because I am. And you for sure don't want to be not excited when I am super excited. I would feel bad for you. And I don't want that. You don't want that. So, let's make a promise to all be excited next week when I blow your fucking mind away with my sleevey awesomeness.
Glad we are now all on the same page. This is good.
I'm quite excited to go out tonight and have some fun with my Austrian peeps. Today was the end of very long day at work, and I could use a beverage at any moment. Like meow. Right meow. So before I go, I will leave your with this little memory of college.
love you my lovelies,
nerdy
This chick is awesome.
On a related note, I just ate a ton of red curry... I feel like I ate half of Thailand. Oof. But it put me in a happy place, and you know what? I kinda like it.
Anyhoo, I am just about to end a rather looong day. Work is mega busy and stressful at the moment, plus I had to drive an hour (each way) for German lessons. As much as I need and want to learn German, it's really hard to keep my brain alive and focused on grammar after working all day and driving to Salzburg... Ich bin sehr mude. I will definitely sleep like a champ tonight, that's fur sicher.
In other news, I went to London a few weeks ago for work and saw some of this:

(I love taking pictures of famous landmarks with random strangers being touristy. It's even better if you can somehow be in the background of their photo doing something awesome without them knowing it until their friends point it out months later)
Unfortunately I was only there for 3 days and didn't get more time to nerd out and hit the museums, but you have to leave something for the return visit and that is what this little nerd is going to do. Next time.
And then I was off to Oktoberfest in Munich where I didn't drink any beer. And it was awesome. If you know me, you'll know that I hate the taste of beer. Always have, always will. It's just one of those things that I never liked. You can keep your bubbly weirdness, just give me some Jager. Anyhoo... So why the hell was I in Munich then during Oktoberfest? Well, besides checking out the insane amount of cleavage leaping out from girls' dirndls, I was there to get the next installment of my sleeve done, which I have to say looks simply fucking awesome. Once this bad Larry heals up, I will post some pics. Now that it is more than a simple outline, I feel like you'll like it more since it is... well, not just an outline anymore. So when the times comes, I will take some awesome shots of me flexing in lederhosen. If that doesn't make you want to tear off your clothes and mount your screen, I don't know what will.
With that luscious image, I must leave you. My bed has stopped whispering to me and is now in full on scream mode.
Sweet dreams, my tasty little muffin snakes.
xoxo

Wow. Another month has come and gone, so it must be time for another blog. Let's see here... So in terms of awesome news, I do have a few things to report on.
First up, I have begun my sleeve. Super pumped on this. I have waited far too long but all things happen for a reason (so my mom keeps telling me). I don't want to give away too much of the show right now but I will say that I really don't like sleeves that are made up of a bunch of randomly pieced together elements (however awesome each one may be). I really favor a sleeve that is made up of a single, coherent work or a bunch of smaller pieces that metamorphosize into one another. I went for the latter. Each element in my sleeve will stand alone but each element has a part to play in the next element, so that each concept flows from one to the next. Different ideas, stories, images etc will become something else as you look up or down my arm. So far, the outline is pretty sick. And my artist in Munich is really psyched on the idea. Basically, I plan on this rocking your socks off. Can't wait to show it to you once some color is added.
Next up is this- you will not be disappointed... Not only is this probably the greatest winning run in mountain biking history, but the commentators actually lose their fucking minds. Danny Hart makes this insanely steep track look easy and effortless, during the absolute worst conditions of the day. And to top it off, the commentators are absolutely hilarious. "How does Danny Hart sit down with balls that big?!?" hahaha solid gold.
And lastly, if you haven't seen this movie yet.. you need to. Your Highness is pure awesomeness combined with magic and boobs. Sometimes combined together.
While this clip is pretty fun, it captures about 4% of the total amazingness the movie brings to the table. If I were to show you every awesome scene, I would need to post the movie and I would probably get in trouble with the interweb police. And I don't need or want that kind of heat right now.
That's all for now lovelies

Phew, what a much needed super fun weekend. Great weather finally, and fun bike stuff going on at my local shred spot. There was a Slope Style competition, which I was one of the judges for. Super fun
Here is my homie Clemens wining best trick:

There was also a Downhill race on Sunday, which I competed in. I don't have any pics of that, since it would have been hard to do both at the same time but here is a little something which will give you an idea of what it was like:
It went super well. I finished in the middle of the pack, which was expected. Would have always liked to have done better, but there are so many good riders over here in Euroland that the competition is super stacked. I chose the right lines, hit most of the things I needed to keep the bike running smooth and in the end it produced a solid result. Super good times were had for sure. Boom.
And in true Austrian style, it started raining immediately after the race and it hasn't stopped. Oh well... 2 days of sunshine in a row is about all you can ask for right now. I don't want to ask for 3 and get greedy.
Season 4 of Californication is calling me, gonna spend some quality time with my boy Hank Moody.
Cheers from nerd land.

Dare me to breathe,
When I can't catch my breath.
Sway my temper's balance....
Why is it that whenever something good is potentially going to happen in my life, the Evil Genius swoops in just before the turning point and puts a stop to it. Seriously. Back off Evil Genius... Go fuck with someone else for a change. Dick.
I remember being happy once. I'm pretty sure I liked it. And I'm pretty sure by now that I've fulfilled whatever previous life karma debt I racked up, so let's kick this thing around and let me fucking ride a rainbow or something.
Ready when you are. Thanks.

Rain. Lots of rain. Yes sir, I'm pretty much over all of the rain we have gotten in June AND July. August needs to be a heck of a lot drier, because I'm pretty sure I will lose my goddamned mind.
It's really annoying because the rain is more or less preventing me from doing what I love:
Such an amazing edit. Super rad riding and a remix of Phantogram's Mouthful of Diamonds. High five your screen if you agree with me.
I love playing bikes. I get such an amazing feeling from it, and it's like nothing else. And even though it was (surprise) raining yesterday, I went riding for a couple of hours. I was dying to go. And it felt sooo good. A little sketchy in some spots but still super fun haha. I swear it is what's keeping me sane at the moment
But I did get to escape the rain for a couple of days last week when I went down to Italy for work. It was awesome. It was this:

and this

A friend of mine in that area is celebrating her birthday next weekend, so I might just have spend a few more days down there... I would be ok with that
That's all for now lovelies,
Ciao ciao

New favorite song
I tend to always like the cover or remix more than the original for some reason. And this is especially the case when a dude voice from Montreal is replaced with a sexy girl voice. That always works well for my team.
Es gefällt mir.

Two things.
First thing: this Thursday is a national holiday here in Austria, which means no worky... AND it is opening day at the local mountain bike park. This is what I plan on doing, rain or shine-
Second thing: Girls. Well, one girl specifically. She is on my mind like crazy. We were super into each other about a month ago, when all of a sudden she bailed. She is leaving the country in a few months, for a few months and doesn't want to get more into a relationship... But I know we had a real connection and I think she is scared about it. Plus there's another dude in the picture, where she will be going... Fuck this has disaster written all over it, doesn't it? Will someone please internet slap the shit out of me? Because when I try to do it, it hurts and I just end up high-fiving myself instead.
I need something pretty spectacular to happen, and my heart is kinda tapped out. Suggestions?
thanks lovelies. you are lovely.

I have no idea why my brain likes to confuse The Black Keys with The Black Eyed Peas... One of these bands is not like the other, and it's not even close.
Keys win. Every time. Fergie is also a sasquatch so that doesn't really help any.
But then again, this is just my opinion and I could be wrong. Crazier things have been known to happen...
love you lovelies
