lets see what have I been up to, well I went to the Kentucky ren fair, saw my friends play again, had a lot of fun, the Fair gets bigger every year, I will post some photos at the end of this.

My birthday was on july 20th, my birthday wasn't all the great, it really never is, but the day after was really good, my friends birthday is in the same week as mine and they were having their birthday thing that day and it was a lot of fun.

Been working on my novel some.

I have 3 celtic festivals to go to next month, if you are close to any of them then you should go, one is at the same place the KY ren fair is, one is up in Louisville KY and one is in Elizabethton TN.

Saturday I went out in the county to find Switzer Covered Bridge that was built in 1855, it was a beautiful drive out to find it.

Ok, so this some stuff I have been into.

My friends band was playing in north Carolina on the 5th, it is a 6hr drive from my house, didn’t really know if I felt like making the drive and really didn’t make up my mind if I was going until I was at work the day before, I couldn’t get a vacation day early in the week and if I was going to make it I was pretty much going to have to drive all night because I don’t get off work until 1030pm, by half way through the day I had made up my mind I was going, I took 2 naps when I got home adding up to about 1hr and maybe 30min of time and I was on the road a little before 4am, on the way up there I stopped a couple times to try to take a nap, that never worked out, so by the time I got there at 11am I had been up for around 24hrs, I hung out with the band all day long and made some new friends, they played a great show and so did the other band, helped them pack up their gear and gave one of the girls a gift I got her, after it was all over I found a hotel about 20mile down the road and stayed the night, I was up and out of the hotel well before 11.


The new roommate has been here for a little less then a month, he is a pretty cool guy, but when I get home from work I don’t talk a lot for a while, I get home, I have to eat, check messages and all that and he has ask me two or 3 times if I was mad because I was being quit, he likes to talk a lot, I had to explain to him that I don’t always talk and just because I don’t’ talk non stop doesn’t mean I’m mad, he is a little more open about his personal life for some one I don’t really know then I thought he would be and he is kind of shocked about how people really are, he tells me stores about things people have done and I have to tell him how I know a lot of people like that, but he has interesting stores, he is a archeologist and anthropologist and is pretty well educated, we get along pretty good.

Well I have a roommate now, he will not move in until May, I kind of know him through facebook, he is a archeologist and anthropologist for the military I think, so he will be gone most of the summer, but he is going back to school, said he is tired of being on the road all the time.

My St Patty’s day weekend was pretty amazing, my friends band played both days and I hung out down there all day, drank some beer, took some photos that I will post at some point, watched some good bands and Irish dancing and just hung out with my friends.

been a busy week, i hope to catch up some time this week.

I think I might go to Maryland for their renaissance festival, so if anyone is in Maryland let me know.

Work gets worse every week, I’m going to dance a jig in the parking lot when I quit!

My roommate is an alcoholic, like a real one, he doesn’t go out and party with his friends, he just gets drunk at the house every night by himself, I feel sorry for him, he wants to go back to school, but I don’t think he can like this.

i've come to realize that people now a days never want to do anything unless they are the ones making the plans, they want to be in control, want to make it easy on them, when you are the one who comes up with the idea no go, i'm pretty tired of that.

I drove to Tennessee last weekend to see my friends band play at a Celtic music festival, I love those girls!
