Yesterday I didn't go to work, instead I cleaned my bearings till they spun forever, slapped on some new wheels grabbed my board and headed to San Francisco's Presidio.

I had been looking at the ride recommendations on David Prices SK8SanFran website, and followed his advice and went to check out Park Blvd. It is fucking unreal. If you have a Freebord or longboard and live anywhere near SF you gotta check out this ride. Start at Park Ave or Kobbe Rd...and ride downward to the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. You can practically skate all the way to the waters edge. Not much traffic, great views.

I know where I'm going to be this weekend...

gah... the weeks grind by at the big scary biotech company. My cubicle is too cold, and the window makes a haunted whistling sound. The smell of tar from a nearby construction project makes it seems like we are somewhere in Dante's Inferno instead of near the marshes by SFO.

Nobody I work with has any social skills at all. Their all programmers and bio-scientists, about half from southeast asia and half stateside. They are all bunch of super-smart shoegazers. Prolly have an intense internal life going on...but on the outside its dullsville, daddy-O.

The only person remotley interesting is this worman who comes in wearing an armored motorcycle jacket. She has a speech impediment and I can barely understand a word she's saying.

off to Sonoma County for a Thanksgiving on a hippie farm. Yummie pies and yams and the smell of potsmoke filling the air....yum!
