Honestly, I had pretty much forgotten about Suicide Girls, much less that I had an account; but then I noticed a $48 charge to my credit card... Now it's too late to have it removed...

Perhaps I should make the most of it eh?

I know, I know. Such things are frivolous and silly at best, but sometimes I can't help but submit my photos into contests and juried shows. The latest case in point is for Digital Photography magazine. Wouldn't you know, it's been made a finalist. That just enables my folly. Anyway, have a look here:

Trial by jury is a great part of what separates us from those who propagate only violence and terror. More death and more killing is no cause for jubilation.

The waters are high as we've gotten a lot of rain here in Vermont this month. This, coupled with the snow melt off has led to very high streams and rivers. I can't help but find it beautiful, so when my friend Katie AKA "Miss Kitty Kokonuts" was down for a visit we went for a hike. My camera was, of course, in tow.

It's a good cause, once one gets past the name:

If you find a Slut Walk in a nearby city, I highly recommend spending an afternoon to go out and help finally shepherd in the 21st century. They're apparently popping up all over the place.

I love it when a shoot goes well! It's making new friends and having a creative outlet when everything else seems to be going sideways.
