"I wanted to write another testimonial about FreakPirate because I'm thinking when I get old I'll forget all this stuff but that'll be ok because I'll have posted it online and Google or whatever it'll be in sixty years will have it memorized for me.
I first encountered Freakpirate riding the bus to university, where I'd always see this asian-looking guy with a mowhawk. It wasn't until nearly a year later that I got to know the dude.
FreakPirate has moved a television that has weighed more than 300lbs more than three times. To two walk-up apartment buildings up several flights of stairs.
He has woken up at the crack of dawn to pick strawberries with me and even accompanied me to join the most tired looking brunchers around.
He has, on more than one occasion, swore a great deal at a video game we've shared.
He is a good soul, a funny man and a real cool cat."
"I don't know if you can love someone from the moment you meet them, but with FreakPirate it was pretty damn close. Whatever life brings, I hope that he is happy. And I hope that I am there, contributing to his everyday joy, because he has brought so much happiness into my life. And I'll keep hanging on. (personal reference ftw?)
So much love. So much.
"FreakPirate and I got drunk together, once. We had a dirty time. Actually, I puked on my cat's head, the wall, the ceiling and the carpet. He got hammered on wine and I swore like a sailor. Good times."
"Time for a new one. I love this kid tons... I'm so glad to have him back with us in Edmonton, and now sucked into the choir subgroup too, which gives me the chance to see him consistently often. Plus see him in a tux with a mohawk, which is always a comical sight
He's pretty much the original Edmonton SG scene, and I'm super glad he's still around here... Heck, truthfully, I might not still be around here myself if he wasn't.
Thanks for being... whatever you are. "

"freakpirate is:
- a gracious houseguest
- a fitting partner to share adventures where we roam around town, make evil fingers and pretend that seagulls talk like cinnamon j. scudworth
- fucking hilarious to the point where i laugh till my belly hurts
- someone i am lucky to have as a friend."
