i was so busy making sure people were on the schedule for today that i almost forgot that i didn't have to work. ah, sweet middle management.

In a continuation form last post - Eric Bachman is playing a club in town on 9/22. Yay! Also Sufjan Stevens is that week, so I best save up. Deerhoof is this Thursday!

I've spent the past 2 weekends with my family on the coast. My 1.5 yearold nephew is adorable. He walks around pointing at things and saying "Wook!" too cute. When his mommy (my sister) tells him to give someone a kiss it's one of those big gross baby kisses, and he always aims for your mouth. adorablezorness!

my other nephew is becoming a teenager, but he still has a lot of his little kid sweetness. also, he has sprouted since last i saw him. he's almost as tall as me (6'), but he's 13.

my niece. well my niece loves me to pieces. she's 6. she's full of her self, but in a very tolerable way. one night she came out and told me she couldn't sleep because she was cold, but really she just wanted me to wait in the room until she fell asleep. ahhhhh.

Anyway, it was a nice time. Even if I had to eat at a lot of crappy restaurants.

I finally bought some Crooked Fingers. I am very happy I did.

I think I might need to actually cave in and get assessed for ADD and maybe start taking some medical type meds (instead of selfmedicating with a ton of coffee each day). If it helped me not get all crazy anxious when life seems particularly disorganized (which also makes me feel crazy, depressed, and like sleeping for days) then it would be well worth the expense.

I get to see my niece and nephews next weekend! This will be great. My niece is way excited about seeing her uncle Also, I get to see my sisters. It should be much fun.
