To identify a Slasher (typically: blood and gore galore with tits and ass to spare) versus a Psycho(logical) (typically: visually distubring, mentally scarring and sporadic applications of gore, usually with some side boob in the beginning) apply this simple formula. If the number of people involved in the horror movie scenario is less than 5 you are probably watching a Psycho movie rather than a Slasher. Basically we identified the relationship of the number of victims to the amount of horror movie violence that can be released and with the fewer the victims the more the movie will probably screw with your head.
