So I passed my CDA. Yay!
I've decided to go with a vegan diet. Its more difficult than I initially thought but I think I'm doing good. I accidently bought a soy yogurt that wasn't vegan, but my heart was in it nonetheless. I know next time to go with a different brand. My aunt is kinda concerned about me consuming too much soy and raising my estrogen levels, but I'm not concerned about it. The way I see it before I started this new lifestyle, i never looked at food labels and now I do. So I figure I'm being healthier just by paying closer attention to the things I'm putting in my body. Of course I need to worry about protein and iron but I'm taking steps.
