I guess I am bad luck when it comes to working in camera stores. The first one (Hovey's) I worked in closed. The second one, Eagle Photo, is closing. I can't FULLY blame myself for that one since I was laid off in April, but still. I have the touch of death apparently. So come July 10, almost exactly one year after Hovey's closed, Eagle will close it's doors for good too leaving NO mom & pop camera stores in the seacoast, although I've heard River's was bought by a Newburyport family and is still open. But still, Ritz, who I can't even get a job with is the only one left. Camera stores are a dying breed if you don't have the buying power. It's sad. Truly sad.
