two pieces.........
Afghanistan some thoughts timothy r gates, 9/16/2009 **
Afghanistan,
good war?
Iraq,
bad war?
Vietnam,
good, then
bad war?
WWII,
come lately,
but still called
a
good war?
war, good or bad,
to our good or ill,
still robs all
of potential prolonged
innocence
fuels
nationalism, racism,
hatred for what is
called
The Enemy.
long ago
an end to The War
to end all wars
ended.
**It appears that our Presidents in America have easily damned certain wars of others when not in the office, but then followed up their distrust of such things with their own
justification of yet another war. There are arguments from every side, party again but
part of the same club, regarding Health Care Coverage for ALL. Both sides have no
problem perpetuating both the act of war as well as the ballooning cost to do it. If both sides would stop for a moment and apply this same fragmented, but same outcome, logic to this face-to-face issue they could effect it nearly immediately. Alas, they will both demonize the other, pretending that being in one party makes a difference when in fact theyre merely two sides of the same club, a larger party, where they do always win financially, and the rest of US in the US of A pay for their clubs act of war against those that pay for their private enterprise.
life lived in to-day timothy r gates, 9/17/2009
to-morrow
yesterday
illusionary delusions
lived in their
momentary conclusions
sorrow
elusive payday
regretful speculations
buried in their
neglectful oblations
tap dancing
pirouette enhancing
going to play
life lived in to-day.
