for some reason i find this image slightly disturbing.
but it's better than the naked picture of bea arthur that Terrakotta posted in my last journal. sorry to anyone who may have seen that. i should have updated much sooner so no one would have to see that.
so becky and i went to philidelphia last week for a couple days. we had a really great time. we went to the mutter museum of medical oddities, the philly art museum, love park, we walked by the liberty bell and independance hall (the lines were too long to wait in) and also the aquarium. she has the pictures and i think she was planning on doing a journal about it. so stay tuned for pictures.
i've decided that i should move out. living all by myself, no room mates for once in my life. they're married now and should probably start a life together without someone else involved in the domestic situation. also i realized that i could probably afford to live on my own. so now i am looking for a one bedroom apartment or loft for around $600 a month with heat and hot water included. does anyone think this is possible without being completely afraid of the neighborhood. i've actually debated calling my old landlord to see if there are any apartments available in that price range in the building i used to live in. does that sound weird? moving back to the same place you moved out of two years ago (well almost same...i wouldn't be moving into the same apartment) i was talking to one of the guys i work with and he said his apartment is exactly that price and in the forest park neighborhood. between forrest park ave and belmont. but then the question arises.....do i want to live in springfield anymore? i'm not sure....but our lease is up at the end of october.....so i should start looking now.
i went to the dentist for the first time in six years last monday. nothing surpising. i have a couple cavities that need to be filled and a possible root canal. but this dentist thinks that i don't have to get my wisdom teeth out. so that's good news.
one last thing.....does anyone want to buy a motorcycle???? i really need to sell my old one and i'm really lazy about advertising it. i had one guy that still says that he wants to buy it but never answers his phone and never calls me back about it. so i think i should probably give up on him and take an ad out or make up flyers to get rid of it. for anybody that might be interested. it's a 2000 suzuki gs500e, it has about 8000 miles on it. it's a 500cc bike so it's great to learn on if you've never owned one. i'm only asking $1800 for it. the blue book value is $2000. i just need to get rid of it so i can pay off my credit card. if you know of anybody that might be interested e-mail me.
that is all for now.

ps: You are so MONEY, and I mean that in a sincere, Swingers, kind of way
Your apartment request is not ridiculous. You should be able to find an apartment for that price around here somewhere. Do you have any qualms about moving a little further out? Because I know the rents in Sunderland are RIDICULOUSLY cheap (like $400/month h/hw included) but then again not everyone doesn't mind driving a half hour to civilization unlike myself I hate Springfield as well and I'm trying to convince Walter to sell this house and buy a bigger one somewhere else...like Alaska for instance Surprisingly, the rents in the scary sections of Springfield are not as cheap as you may think. I used to work for an answering service and we answered for several property management companies. A lot of these places will make their rent exorbitant because they are getting Section 8 from everyone which means they can charge $1000 for an apartment which any normal person would pay half that. It's a weird game they play. Good luck though! I send you good vibes for getting out of the pit that is Springfield
